How Does Encha Work?

Encha includes green tea in both culinary and ceremonial grades. As the tea includes the stimulant caffeine, it can provide added energy, mental focus, and concentration. It could also speed up the metabolism, which causes the body to enter a state of thermogenesis for rapid fat burning and weight loss.

A study in BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies found that 6 weeks of green tea decreased cholesterol in overweight women [1].

This brand contains an amino acid which raises levels of key brain neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine, and GABA. A review in the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry discussed the roe of GABA in anxiety disorders [2].

This may help to decrease stress and anxiety, lift mood, and improve mental performance. The calming effects of this amino acid counteract the possible crash of caffeine.

Matcha tea contains anti-inflammatory agents, which could help reduce swelling in the body. It is also high in antioxidants which may eliminate free radicals and decrease oxidative stress. This promotes healing in the body and strengthens the immune system.

Encha Organic Matcha Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

These are the primary active ingredients in Encha:

Green Tea

It may provide energy, improve mental focus and alertness, elevate mood, burn fat, and promote weight loss. A review in Molecules discussed the health benefits and chemical composition of matcha green tea [3].

– This is a popular stimulant which can provide additional energy, improve mental focus and alertness, and even enhance exercise performance. In addition, it speeds up the metabolism leading to fat-burning in the body and weight loss.

An article in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry discussed the catechin and caffeine content of green tea [4].

– This is an amino acid which has an impact on raising levels of key brain chemicals like serotonin, GABA, and dopamine. This helps boost mood, decrease anxiety, and improve brain health.

A study in the Journal of Medicinal Food concluded that l-theanine improved cognitive function in middle ages and older adults [5].

– These are compounds which work actively to destroy free radicals that are harmful to the body, which then lower oxidative stress. This promotes healing in the body, boosts overall health, and makes the immune system stronger.

An article in the Research Journal of Pharmacy and Technology talked about the role of antioxidants in common health diseases [6].

  1. Chase

    Great quality and value
I’m by no means a matcha expert, but I was enjoying the ceremonial grade matcha from David’s Tea, but it grew harder to attain and was expensive. The Encha ceremonial matcha is fresh and brightly coloured. I like to sift mine and there were no clumps at all and it froths up nicely. The taste is lighter and softer than others I’ve tried and a little sweeter. Overall great value, will buy again.
