How Does Matchabar Work?

Matchabar products contain green tea, which may have health benefits like lowering blood pressure and decreasing the risk of heart disease [8]. It also includes caffeine, which provides energy and could speed up the metabolism to initiate fat and weight loss.

A review article in the Journal of Herbal Medicine concluded that green tea may boost energy expenditure and increase fat oxidation [1]. Green tea also includes the amino acid L-theanine, which might support improved brain function and mood.

It could increase levels of key brain neurotransmitters GABA, dopamine, and serotonin which may elevate mood, decrease anxiety, improve mental focus and alertness, and increase cognitive functioning. A study in the Journal of Medicinal Food concluded that L-Theanine improved attention, working memory, and executive functions in the brain [2].

Green tea is full of antioxidants, which may destroy free radicals in your system and lower oxidative stress. This could help promote healing in the body and boost the immune system.

Matchabar Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

These are the primary active ingredients in Matchabar:

Green Tea

– Made of Camellia Sinensis leaves, this tea does not go through the same oxidation process as other teas, so it contains more antioxidants. It also has caffeine, which could boost energy levels, and L-Theanine which might provide brain benefits.

A review in ACS publications concluded that green tea polyphenols can promote human health [3].

Caffeine

– Matchabar Caffeine is a stimulant which stimulates the central nervous system to provide additional mental and physical energy. It could provide cognitive alertness and improve exercise performance. Unfortunately, it can also lead to side effects like jitters and insomnia. An article in Current Neuropharmacology suggested that caffeine is a mental and physical performance enhancer [4].

L-Theanine

– This is an amino acid which could accelerate the production of key brain chemicals like GABA, serotonin, and dopamine. It may boost brain health, improve mood, and decrease stress and anxiety.

A study in the Journal of Nutrition found that L-theanine and caffeine in combination improved attention task performance and brain activity [5].

Antioxidants

– Antioxidants protect your body against free radicals by destroying them and lowering oxidative stress. This may promote healing in the body, and it could make the immune system stronger. A review in the Journal of Dairy Science discussed the physiological role of antioxidants in the immune system [6].

Who Should Buy Matchabar?

Matchabar is a suitable brand for users who love the taste and benefits of matcha green tea. It’s best for people who are not overly sensitive to caffeine, as it could lead to side effects like anxiety, irritability, sleeplessness, and jitters.

Matchabar FAQ’s

Q: What Do the Matchabar Reviews Say?

A: The Matchabar review posts offered a range of opinions. Some users said they did get energy and some added brain alertness. Several users liked the taste, but there were a number of others who said they didn’t feel the quality of the blend was as good as some other brands and the taste was poor. A couple of people said they developed a stomach ache after drinking it.

Q: How Do You Use Matchabar Products?

A: While each product may have a different serving amount recommended, generally speaking, you mix the powder either with water or with a latte or other beverage depending on the individual instructions. Then you simply drink and reap the benefits.

Q: What is the Matchabar Return Policy?

A: The company has a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with the products for any reason, contact the company for instructions and then send the items back within 30 days of the day you received the order. You should get a full refund.

Q: Is Matchabar Cruelty-Free?

A: Matchabar does not appear to be a cruelty-free brand, as the PETA site does not list them as such. You should be aware that this brand may test their products on animals or have associates who do.

Q: Where to Buy Matchabar?

A: You can buy Matchabar from the manufacturer’s official website, and from other online sites and offline stores. The company offers free shipping for each order. Here are the prices from the official site:

  • Matchabar Culinary Matcha Powder (100g) – $29.99
  • Matchabar Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder (30g tin) – $29
  • Matchabar Ceremonial Grade Matcha Powder (80g tin) – $49.99

Q: What Sets Matchabar Apart From the Competition?

A: Not every company has ceremonial grade matcha, which is a positive point for this brand. On the negative side, some of the other brands such as Golde, Jade Leaf, and Encha offer more flavors, such as lemonade or latte. Matchabar offers mostly regular green tea flavor without many other options.

Conclusion

Matchabar is a brand of powder green tea beverages which include natural ingredients. The green tea has caffeine which can provide additional energy, and amino acids which offer rich nutrients and promote brain health. The prices for these products are fairly reasonable for the most part.

The Matchabar review postings varied depending on the product. There were users who liked the flavor and benefits they got from these drinks. However, a number of users said that the flavor was poor, and they didn’t feel the quality was as good as the brand claims. Some would have liked a wider selection of drinks than just matcha.

Although there are no serious side effects associated with this brand, you may experience symptoms from the caffeine in particular. Do not use these products if you are sensitive to caffeine. If you have unpleasant side effects, stop using the brand. You may want to see a doctor for approval first.

    Just Like Starbucks
I ordered the ceremonial grade. It was very strong in color & taste. Which is a good thing. The purpose of me ordering this was to see if I could make my favorite drink from Starbucks at home. Well I can. It taste just good as the Starbucks beverage.
