Lutazene Ingredients – Are They Safe & Effective?

Lutazene employs some ingredients that have been garnering a lot of attention recently for their purported ability to prevent age-related macular degeneration. These ingredients are said to protect the macula to preserve the structure of the retina.

Lutein

– According to International Journal of Ophthalmology, Lutein may help filter out harmful blue light which can be damaging to the retina over time. These light waves are high energy and they can cause irreparable damage. [1]

Lutein offers numerous benefits for eye health. This powerful antioxidant is known for its ability to protect the eyes from harmful blue light and reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and cataracts as we documented in our review of Eyetamins.

Zeaxanthin

– Zeaxanthin is a carotenoid that is found in the retina. Of the carotenoids found in the retina and that are required for normal function, zeaxanthin is the more dominant, comprising up to 75% of the carotenoids found in the retina, according to study. [2]

In our comprehensive IGenics Reviews article, we have thoroughly documented the presence of both ingredients, offering comprehensive insights and analysis.

The lutazene supplement caused my eyes to burn slightly.
I liked the Lutazene supplement and used the entire bottle. My only complaint is that it caused my eyes to burn slightly. I have dry eyes that are sensitive to light, so that could have been the cause. I have switched back to a different brand.
