What is Rub A535?

Rub A535 is a pain-relief brand that has been on the market for over 90 years. They offer a wide selection of creams, gels, Rub A535 patch products, and sprays that promise to reduce pain and inflammation in muscles and joints, as well as heal minor injuries.

While there is a lot of choice, including a cream for kids aches and bruises, there’s nothing else this is overly unique about the products or the A535Rub ingredients selection. The brand has some very loyal users, while some other customers found it less effective.

How Does It Work?

Each formulation is slightly different, but the Rub A535 products include ingredients which have analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties. They could decrease swelling in muscles and joints, and heal bruises, skin conditions, and injuries.

They may also block key receptors responsible for pain. A research article published in Surgical Neurology International discussed the potential use of botanical ingredients to offer anti-inflammatory relief [1].

There are ingredients which cool down and then heat the area like menthol, or that deliver targeted cold or heat to soothe symptoms. A journal article in Brain discussed the cold pain by activation receptor mechanisms of menthol [2].

The products have antioxidants like polyphenols that could eliminate some of the harmful free radicals and lessen the amount of oxidative stress. An article in Life Journal discussed the positive benefits of polyphenols in the treatment of arthritis [3].

This may repair and heal damage, and boost the immune system. The products also have hydrating ingredients which could moisturize the skin and eliminate dry areas, and anti-microbial agents which kill bacteria to possibly prevent infection.

Rub A535 Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

These are some of the primary active Rub A535 ingredients:

Capsaicin

This is a bioactive component in chili peppers, and there’s some evidence that it has analgesic properties which could decrease pain and swelling in joints, muscles, bruises, and injuries.

An article in Molecules discussed the mechanisms and therapeutic use of capsaicin in pain management [4]. It may block key pain receptors, which could also have a positive impact on reducing nerve pain.

A review in Cochrane Library explored the use of topical capsaicin in treating chronic neuropathic pain [5].

Camphor

Derived from the camphor tree, this terpenoid is an ingredient in many topical formulas to decrease pain and inflammation in muscles, joints, and injuries. Additionally, camphor is known to soothe the skin and is claimed to increase blood circulation, as stated in the Mountain Ice Gel Review.

A study in Biological and Pharmaceutical Bulletin showed that camphor cools and warms the skin and may increase muscle and skin circulation[6]. Its anti-inflammatory agents and may also help to heal wounds, burns, and skin conditions.

Arnica

This plant in the sunflower family has potent anti-inflammatory benefits, which may decrease pain and swelling in muscles, joints, and injuries. It is usually in topical products, but you can also take it in supplement form. This particular ingredient is also included in the formulation of Balmorex Pro pain relief cream.

However, the research examining its effects do not show a lot of support. A study in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine found that arnica was not overly effective in decreasing pain, swelling, and bruising after surgery [7].

In addition, a systematic review in the Journal of Musculoskeletal Pain found that doses of 10% arnica had no significant benefits on decreasing pain and inflammation [8].

Conclusion

Rub A535 is a brand of topical pain relief products which promise to ease pain and inflammation in joints, muscles, injuries, and bruises. The selection includes gels, patches, sprays, roll-ons, and lotions. This is a quality line, but not overly unique in the market.

There were a number of positive reviews for Rub A535, and the brand does have its loyal followers. However, there were also customers who said the products didn’t help them much, were not strong enough, or had too potent a scent. A few people found them too expensive.

The Rub A535 brand is primarily organic, but it’s possible that some users may have an allergic reaction. If you notice symptoms like additional rash, burning skin, or redness, stop using these products right away. Do not use on open wounds or damaged skin.

Bones are connected by joints, which allow us to move with ease. Joint damage can cause pain preventing you from doing the things you once loved. Topical joint relief products tend to work more quickly, helping to relieve pain directly in the affected area compared to products taken orally. A topical joint pain relief product should be evaluated on its: potential to block the transportation of pain signals, potential to act as a counterirritant to reduce soreness and Quality of Ingredients* backed by clinical research.

Below you'll find some of the most effective topical joint pain products on the market today, in our opinion.

    Partially effective product...
My pain is greatly reduced by this. Since I was involved in an automobile accident a couple of years ago, this massage really helps when my shoulder, neck, and back start to act up. But my mother’s joints showed no signs of improvement.
