Overview

A lifeless, dull complexion may be caused by poor exfoliation. Your skin’s cell turnover rate is probably faster than you realize so you need to stay on top of it by keeping your epidermis clear of dead and dying skin. But what is the best way to stay on top of exfoliation?

The makers of UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint say their product offers superior exfoliation because of the unique ingredients it contains. For instance, many people gravitate towards UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint because of its inclusion of arabica coffee grounds that may provide antioxidant defense for the skin.

UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint is gaining some popularity because of its holistic blend of intriguing ingredients. The makers of this body scrub claim that it will smooth out your skin, invigorate your senses, and enhance moisture. But these are all lofty claims. Can this product really live up to them? Find out in the following UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint review.

How Does UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint Work?

One of the ways that UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint is supposed to work is by enhancing blood flow to the skin. So why might such an effect be important for skin health? Enhanced blood flow may provide more oxygen to skin cells so that they repair themselves.

Improved blood flow to the epidermis may also help prevent excessive skin dryness and irritation. The question is, does UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub-Peppermint really increase blood flow to the skin? It’s possible due to the inclusion of Arabica coffee seeds. However, Arabica coffee seeds have not been clinically tested for this purpose. Instead, most of the testing has been done on other aspects of blood flow like pressure; but not skincare.

So it actually remains to be seen whether UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub-Peppermint can actually live up to this claimed function. But will UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub-Peppermint make your skin softer? Some people may experience such an effect while it may make skin drier for some users.

UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub with Peppermint Ingredients

Let’s take a look at the ingredients in the UpCircle Coffee Body Scrub-Peppermint formula:

Peppermint Oil

Peppermint oil is known for its soothing effects on skin. Some of the claimed benefits of peppermint oil is the treatment of a common skin condition called pruritus which is marked by itching and irritation. According to one National Institutes of Health study, peppermint oil may be a viable natural treatment for pruritus; but it may not be effective for other conditions.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is a common ingredient in skincare products that is mostly associated with improved hydration. Some studies also point to shea butter’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects. However, shea may be too oily for some users who already have naturally oily skin.

Coconut Fruit Oil

Coconut fruit oil is typically used for its anti-inflammatory effects which may safeguard the skin from common forms of irritation. However, coconut is a rather common allergen and its oil and extracts may not be safe for some users.

Arabica Seed Powder

Arabica coffee is enjoyed the world over for its deep flavor and caffeine content. The makers of this product also claim that it can boost blood flow to the skin. So far though, very few high-quality clinical trials have documented arabica coffee seed extract’s effects on skin.

Arrived this morning with the safety seal broken and product spilled down the side of the jar and in the display box.

Not eligible for return or replacement and I can’t use it because the seal was broken. – Laura

I never like to be negative towards small business trying to do well, but this product, I thought smelt horrible- a bit like the bin with yesterdays coffee and old veg. It made the most terrible mess in the bathroom and I had to use a heavy duty cleaner to get the film of brown off the walls and bath.

Best coffee scrub I’ve used. Leaves your skin nourished and makes you feel super clean. It does make a mess though! But ideal for use in a shower.

    Good smell, mid results...
Honestly, I was hyped for the whole “energizing coffee scrub” thing, but it didn’t do much for my dry patches. Smells amazing and wakes you up, but my skin was still kind of rough after showers. I wanted that smooth, buttery vibe people rave about, but the results were pretty meh. Nice concept, weak payoff.
