Overview

Back pain can disrupt your entire life by keeping you from the physical activities that you enjoy. Sciatic nerve pain, arthritis, and spinal injuries can leave you feeling like you no longer have full command of your body. Many of these conditions can be treated or managed though.

It’s just about finding the right products which is why we will be taking a look at Epigenin in today’s review. Epigenin is a dietary supplement that was formulated to alleviate back pain and turn back the hands of the clock on your joints. The makers even say it can enhance your mobility and flexibility.

You may not have heard of Epigenin because it is a relatively new product and hasn’t had much time to penetrate the market yet. Still, there are some consumers who say that it works as advertised so we will be providing you with the important consumer information you need on this supplement in the following review.

What Is Epigenin?

Epigenin is available over-the-counter and it comes in tablet form. There are 200 tablets in each container of Epigenin and this supplement was meant to be taken daily. In fact, if you stop taking Epigenin after it has begun working for you, your back pain and joint issues may return.

The main claims behind this supplement are that it will help lubricate the joints, dampen the inflammation that is typically the cause of joint pain, help the user recover from sports injuries, support the long-term health of the user’s joints, and enhance the user’s flexibility and mobility.

Epigenin is also supposed to offer moderate relief from common types of joint pain and bolster the health of tendons and ligaments. There have been some users who have said that Epigenin worked to make their joints stronger but it should be noted that not all users will have the same experience with the product.

Who Is The Manufacturer Of Epigenin?

The manufacturer of Epigenin appears to be a company called Transformation Nutrition. The company is also ostensibly based in Mandour, Ambala so their products may not be made in the United States.

Still, the company asserts on their official website that they are committed to high-quality, science-backed formulas. They offer free shipping (in India) and secure payment methods on their website.

How Does Epigenin Work?

To understand how Epigenin is intended to work, it would be a good idea to look at the ingredients as opposed to the reviews. That’s because the only customer reviews that currently exist for Epigenin come from the company’s official website and they are all positive so they may be biased.

Epigenin contains some pretty common and basic ingredients when compared to other joint health supplements. For example, Epigenin contains hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a humectant that has been acknowledged in some studies as being able to lubricate synovial joints.

Hyaluronic acid may replenish synovial fluids or at least maintain them, possibly reducing friction and pain in the joints. However, most of the studies conducted on hyaluronic acid involved HA injections, not tablets. So it remains to be seen if this type of ingredient will be effective in supplement form.

Epigenin Key Ingredients – Are They Safe And Effective?

The following is a breakdown of the active ingredients in the Epigenin formula:

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a common antioxidant that may have a moderate effect on arthritis pain by addressing oxidative damage in the joints. The National Institutes of Health has stated that,

Researchers concluded that articular injections of vitamin C show a clear benefit in slowing OA progression by attenuating oxidative damage.

Again though, this study pertained to vitamin C injections so it is unclear if vitamin C in supplement form will have the same effect.

Vitamin D3

While vitamin D3 deficiency has been noticed in some cases of arthritis and joint pain, there is no concrete evidence that the two have anything to do with each other. The NIH has even acknowledged that there is not enough data on vitamin D3 to recommend it for joint pain:

No studies on vitamin D status and change in joint function related to OA (Osteoarthritis) are currently available.

Glucosamine

Synovial fluid inflammation and collagen degradation can cause joint pain and damage. Glucosamine is a compound that has been observed in some clinical studies to reduce synovial fluid inflammation and slow down the degradation of joint cartilage.

MSM

Methyl Sulfonyl Methane is another common ingredient in joint pain supplements. In a clinical study conducted by the Pubmed staff, it was found that regular supplementation with MSM reduced joint pain and improved physical movement for people with arthritis.

Hyaluronic Acid

Hyaluronic acid is a substance that draws moisture to itself and may therefore be able to help maintain synovial fluid in joints. Some studies have shown that this effect reduces joint pain. More in-depth studies need to be conducted to confirm HA’s efficacy though.

How To Use Epigenin?

The makers of Epigenin recommend that users take at least 4 tablets per day – two in the morning and another two in the evening. They also say that you can take 2-4 servings per day.

Benefits Of Epigenin

  • Joint Lubrication – Epigenin may be able to maintain the synovial fluid that helps lubricate the joints and allows them to function normally. The effect in this regard is likely to be minimal though.
  • Sports Injury Recovery – The makers of Epigenin say that their product will help you receiver faster after an injury. However, there is no solid scientific basis for such a claim as the ingredients haven’t been studied in such a way.
  • Better Quality of Life – If Epigenin is able to reduce your joint pain and improve your mobility, then it’s possible that it will also improve the quality of your life by allowing you to move as needed without discomfort.

Side Effects Of Epigenin

There have not been any reports of side effects in the accounts that customers have given. But keep in mind that the only customer reviews for Epigenin come from the company’s official website so they may be biased. Ingredients like MSM may cause digestive issues in general.

Safety Of Epigenin

While many of the ingredients in the Epigenin formula are known to be well-tolerated, some have not been studied for their long-term effects. For example, it is still not known if MSM is safe for long-term use. That’s why you should speak with a physician before you start taking Epigenin.

Epigenin Price

The following prices come from the official Epigenin website and have been converted from Rupees to USD:

  • 90ct bottle – $20.82
  • 200ct bottle – $33.32

What Do the Epigenin Reviews Say?

Epigenin Review – FAQs

Q: Is Epigenin the same as epigenetics?

A: No. Epigenin is a dietary supplement and epigenetics is the study of the changes in human DNA.

Q: Is Epigenin effective for joint support?

A: Some users seem to think so. But it isn’t likely that Epigenin will work to alleviate severe joint pain.

Q: Does Epigenin work for mobility?

A: Taking Epigenin may help improve your mobility over time. Still, it is unclear if Epigenin will be safe to take for an extended period of time.

Q: Is Epigenin gene therapy?

A: Absolutely not. Despite the name, Epigenin is just a dietary supplement and makes no claims to alter genetics.

Epigenin Review – Final Verdict

Epigenin is a supplement that may provide moderate and temporary relief for back pain and other kinds of joint pain. It may help maintain synovial fluid and slow the progression of cartilage degradation.

On the other hand, many of the ingredients in Epigenin can be found in other joint supplements and we still don’t know if Epigenin would be safe to take long-term.

So if you only have minor joint pains, Epigenin may be worth a try. If you require more serious joint pain relief though, you may want to look at other products.
