Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

Water:

Your ability to move around physically can be greatly hampered by losing even 2% of your body’s water content.

Stearic Acid:

As an emulsifier, lubricant, and emollient, stearic acid can soften skin and prevent items from separating. Numerous personal care items, such as lotion for babies, cosmetics, sunscreen, moisturiser, and soap, include stearic acid .[1].

Sodium CocoylGlycinate:

Cleaning agent made from coconut oil[2]

Lauramidopropyl Betaine:

Fatty acids derived from coconut oil

Glycerin:

It is a moisture-attracting compound as we documented in our review of Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser Reviews.. A humectant is a sort of moisturising agent that draws water from the air and deeper layers of the skin into the skin’s surface layer. A humectant, such as glycerin, draws water from the environment and the skin’s deep layers to the surface.

Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate:

Naturally derived sugar is used as a surfactant

Cetearyl Phosphate:

In skin care products, potassium cetyl phosphate serves as an emulsifier and a cleansing agent. It is highly prized for its adaptability in sunscreen formulations as a mild stabilising emulsifier. Cetyl alcohol, a non-irritating fatty alcohol, and phosphoric acid esters are combined to create this potassium salt.

Xylitylglucoside:

moisturizer made from wheat sugars

Dimethicone PEG-8 Meadowfoamate:

It demonstrates antibacterial, antifungal, and antimicrobial properties. The glycolic emollient preservative combination known as Iscaguard® DGP is utilised to enhance the conditioning capabilities of hair.

Anhydroxylitol:

Derived naturally from the fermentation of sugar cane. Benefits: Aids in maintaining the skin’s natural moisture reserves by minimising water loss and raising ceramide production in the skin barrier.

Xylitol:

The immune system, digestion, and metabolism of lipids and bones are all effectively stimulated by xylitol. Xylitol lowers ear and respiratory infections and aids in glycemic and weight control. Diseases that cannot be cured by surgery or antibiotics are treated with xylitol.

Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate:

Leuconostoc/radish root ferment filtrate has natural antibacterial properties and can be utilised in small amounts in personal care products to improve formulation stability and lifespan.

Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Cleanser is not really worth it..
I was very excited to test this product when I ordered it, but after using it for perhaps a week, I saw hardly no improvement in my skin. – you might see a difference if you use this consistently for a few months, but I got this in the hopes that it would assist my hormonal acne, which really flared up during my last period. When oil washing is natural and performs 10 times better than pricey skin care products, I don’t think it’s worth the money. Just my opinion, but it deserves two points because it smells good.
