  • Manufactured in the U.S., it offers high solubility and may be easier on the stomach than traditional creatine monohydrate.
  • Research supports that HCl dissolves faster and may reduce bloating, but monohydrate remains the most extensively studied and cost-effective form.

Con-Cret is the name of the company that makes this supplement. Con-cret was founded by a man named Mark Faulkner who was previously a forensic toxicology expert. He is claimed to have countless years of health and wellness experience.

The mission of the company, as stated on their official website, is to provide science-backed products to people who are concerned about their overall health and wellness.

How Does Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder Work?

To get an idea of how Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder might work, you should look at the sole active ingredient. Creatine is a substance that is produced naturally in the body by the pancreas, liver and kidneys. Its primary role is to provide energy to the muscles.

The specific form of creatine used in Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder is called creatine HCl and it is used because it is claimed to absorb more completely and be more soluble by binding it with hydrochloric acid.

By providing your body with more creatine, you may be powering your muscles so that they can be exerted more when you work out and garner faster, more noticeable results. Just be aware that creatine has been known to interact negatively with caffeine and it may not be safe for people with diabetes.

Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder Ingredients: Are They Safe & Effective?

Now let’s take an even closer look at the lone active ingredient in the Con-cret Creatine Powder formula:

Creatine HCl

Creatine HCl distinguishes itself from normal creatine by being more available for absorption in the body. The formula for Con-cret Creatine Powder uses 750 milligrams of creatine HCl in order to make it safer for more people and to keep it within the threshold of a microdose.

Creatine HCl is often used as a workout supplement because some studies have shown that it helps to build muscle and produces positive ergogenic effects as we read in the following quote taken from a National Institutes of Health study:

Studies consistently reveal that creatine supplementation exerts positive ergogenic effects on single and multiple bouts of short-duration, high-intensity exercise activities, in addition to potentiating exercise training adaptation.

However, not all clinical studies have come up with positive results. In fact, a small group of studies cited by the Harvard Health team show that:

Studies show that loading up on a higher dose of creatine offers no advantages; you are just putting more stress on your kidneys.

According to the Nutrex Creatine Monohydrate Powder Reviews, some users suggest that creatine HCl may be more soluble and better absorbed than creatine monohydrate.

How to Use Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder?

The instructions for Con-cret Creatine Powder state that the user should mix one scoop with 6 ounces of water or other non-alcoholic beverage 30-60 minutes prior to a workout. For intense training you can take 1-2 of these servings per day.

Benefits of Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder

  • Enhanced Muscle Contraction – Creatine appears to have a particular effect on skeletal muscles. It helps them contract and flex which may lead to better results when you work them out.
  • Mental Wellness – The makers of Con-cret Creatine Powder have claimed that the product also offers mental benefits such as enhanced focus. However, there is little clinical evidence to corroborate this claim.
  • Better Endurance – If Con-cret Creatine Powder works like it is intended to, then it may increase your physical endurance and stamina. This may make it easier for you to work out for longer periods of time.

Side Effects of Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder

While there have not been any explicit reports of serious side effects, creatine has a long history of adverse effects. For instance, taking a supplement with creatine in it may cause irritability and aggravation. Creatine may also cause gastrointestinal issues, excessive sweating and diarrhea.

Safety of Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder

The company behind Con-cret Creatine Powder claims that their products are safe because they use exact dosages that have been scientifically validated. Con-cret Creatine Powder may be safe for most users; but people with diabetes, women who are breastfeeding, and anyone on any kind of medication should seek medical advice before taking Con-cret Creatine Powder.

Product Price of Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder

A single bottle of Con-cret Creatine Powder in the 100-serving size will cost $32.99 on the official Con-cret website. A 64-serving size container of Con-cret Creatine Powder will cost $24.99.

Con-cret creatine helped energy but caused stomach upset
I gave Con-Cret Creatine HCl Powder a fair try, and while I noticed a small boost in energy during workouts, the stomach discomfort was tough to ignore. The taste wasn’t great either, and I didn’t see dramatic results compared to other creatines I’ve used. Overall, not the best fit for me.
