Common Naked Juice Ingredients Added in All 5 Product

Here’s a closer look at the key ingredients that appear across Naked’s top-rated drinks and the science behind their functions:

Apple Juice from Concentrate

Apple juice is the primary base in most Naked products. It provides natural sweetness, body, and flavor without the need for added sugar. Apples are also a source of potassium and vitamin C, which support hydration and basic cell function.

A review published in the journal Nutrients looked at 20 human studies on apple juice and its health effects. Drinking cloudy apple juice in moderation may help reduce oxidative stress and support heart health. It may also support healthy cholesterol levels, reduce inflammation, and lower risk factors linked to diabetes, cancer, and brain-related conditions.

Banana Puree

Banana puree appears in nearly all Naked smoothies. It adds thickness and a natural creamy texture, along with potassium, fiber, and some vitamin B6. Bananas also help improve the flavor balance of fruits like mango or strawberry.

A review in Food Science & Nutrition highlights the health benefits of green banana resistant starch (GBRS). Found in high amounts in green bananas, this starch supports digestion, gut health, and may help manage obesity, diabetes, and cancer risks. It’s also used in food products for its texture and stability, making it valuable for healthier food formulations and gut-friendly diets.

Orange Juice

Orange juice is used in multiple blends for its tart flavor and vitamin C content. It helps bring balance to sweeter fruits, such as mango or banana. It also supports the drink’s nutritional profile with natural antioxidants.

A study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that drinking 500 mL of orange juice daily for 14 days increased vitamin C levels in healthy adults and reduced markers associated with oxidative stress. These changes were more noticeable in nonsmokers. The results suggest that orange juice can be a natural and effective source of vitamin C.

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

Vitamin C is included in some Naked drinks (especially the Tropical Protein and Mighty Mango options) as a functional ingredient. It helps preserve the drink and also boosts nutritional value by supporting immunity and antioxidant defense.

A review in the journal Nutrients explains how vitamin C helps protect the body by supporting the immune system. It strengthens the skin’s barrier, helps fight off germs, and reduces damage during infections. Vitamin C also promotes the production of white blood cells, such as neutrophils and lymphocytes. While small amounts are needed daily, higher doses may be helpful during active infections or illness.

Natural Flavor

Natural flavor is listed in all Naked products. It’s commonly added to stabilize or bring out the taste of fruit ingredients. In Naked drinks, it helps ensure consistent taste across batches while still meeting non-GMO or clean-label expectations.

The FDA defines natural flavors as flavoring ingredients derived from natural sources, including fruits, spices, and herbs. While not a nutrient, it helps maintain taste without relying on artificial additives.

Naked Juice Review – FAQ’s

Q: Are Naked drinks healthy to consume every day?

What Do the Naked Juice Customer Reviews Say?

To understand how people feel about Naked, we examined reviews from trusted third-party sources, as the brand’s official website did not publish any reviews.

On Walmart, several customers shared positive feedback about Naked Juice. One reviewer said,

We love this brand. Overall, the best smoothie brand on the market. Totally fresh. The bottle tells you how much of each fruit goes into each bottle.

Another review from a blog called Wellness for Womanhood pointed out some nutritional concerns. It stated,

This green juice has 0g fat, 0g fiber, and 4g of protein. That’s pretty dismal when combined with the high amount of sugar.

Reddit users in nutrition-focused threads also offered mixed opinions. Some praised the drink’s flavor and convenience, while others questioned its health value, pointing out the sugar content and calling it

just expensive juice with vitamins.

Most of the feedback we found centers on taste and easy access. However, some consumers express concern about sugar levels and question whether the drinks align with a truly “healthy” lifestyle.

This shows that while the brand enjoys popularity, particularly for its taste and convenience, it may not meet everyone’s health expectations.

Naked Juice Review – Conclusion

Naked Juice is a well-known brand with wide availability and a strong reputation for offering fruit- and vegetable-based drinks. One of the brand’s key strengths lies in its variety of flavors and clear labeling of ingredients. Many consumers appreciate the convenience, taste, and transparency of its ingredients.

However, not all products are certified organic or non-GMO, and some drinks contain high amounts of sugar. While the brand does not add extra sugar, the natural sugars from fruit still contribute significantly to the calorie content. This can be a concern for people who are trying to monitor sugar intake or follow a low-sugar diet.

In terms of availability, Naked products can be found in several grocery stores, gyms, and cafés, though not every location may stock all flavors. The brand’s website does not provide detailed customer reviews, making it necessary to rely on third-party feedback for insights into customer experiences.

Based on our review, Naked Juice can be a good option for individuals who enjoy fruit-based drinks and want a convenient way to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their diet. However, it may not be the best choice for people seeking low-sugar or fully organic options. Reviewing the nutrition label before purchase is recommended to ensure it aligns with your personal dietary needs.

    Tasty, but kind of overrated
I’ve been grabbing Naked Juice for about 2 months because I wanted something quick after workouts without mixing powders. Taste is bomb, but I realized the sugar hit is heavier than I expected. I did feel less sluggish after my gym sessions, but no big body changes. It’s convenient, but not exactly the “healthy shortcut” I was hoping for.
