About The Brand

Dermapen has been created by a company known as Dermapen. This is a company that has been in existence since 1976. Over the years, it has grown to maintain a business that is sustainable. It is therefore unique because it uses cutting-edge technologies.

Since Dermapen’s development in 2010, it has grown to be popular and has become among the highest ranked micro needling technologies in the market. The company manufacturers claim that Dermapen works effectively when it comes to the reduction of scars, face wrinkles, and facial lines.

While puncturing the skin, this tool is claimed to initiate healing, therefore, replacing damaged skin with new skin. It is also claimed to leave the skin youthful by producing collagen and elastin. Collagen and elastin will cause the skin to tighten and also thicken[1].

How Does Dermapen Work?

Dermapen works in a unique way through a method of puncturing the skin. The Dermapen works through a spring-loaded automated function.

Through this mechanism, it moves up and down perpendicularly across the skin. It punctures the skin while moving perpendicularly while using eleven evenly-spaced microneedles. The device is supposed to be moved across the face because it the facial skin we are dealing with.

The working mechanism of Dermapen causes the stimulation of healthy collagen. The tiny punctures that have been created also allow for the absorption of nutrients into the deeper layers of the skin making it function optimally. The needle oscillations are also quite fast and this is advantageous because while it glides across the skin, it minimizes the chances of damaging the dermal layers of the skin.

  1. Michael Torres

    Okay, but expensive.
Dermapen helped with my pores slightly, but honestly, the cost adds up fast. After four sessions, I see minor changes in skin smoothness. The downtime wasn’t terrible, but my face stayed red for almost three days each time. It’s okay, not amazing. Expected more noticeable results for the price I paid. Might not return.
  2. Kennedy

Shows horrible effects after using Dermapen
My skin shows horrible effects after using it for more than two weeks. The needle in Dermapen Kit actually hurt my skin and made it bloody. I am very disappointed with Dermapen Result.
