Who is the Manufacturer of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum?

The manufacturers of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum claim to use time-honored Korena skin care principles for their products. They are based in Seoul, Korea so their products may not be made in the US.

The company asserts on its official website that its team is dedicated to thorough research and innovation that keeps it on the cutting-edge of skincare discoveries and is part of what makes its products so effective.

How Does Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum Work?

It should be noted that apart from vitamin C, another major ingredient in the Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum formula is something called cica. Cica, we are told, calms inflammation and has a soothing effect on the skin.

This is a rather unusual ingredient and there is not a lot of clinical research to back up its use in these kinds of products yet. Still, it is claimed that cica will have other anti-aging effects on the skin as well such as wrinkle reduction.

The manufacturers of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum also state that they use two forms of vitamin C in their product which is supposed to enhance the effects. However, they do not say at which concentration their vitamin C was added.

Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum Ingredients – Are they Safe and Effective?

To understand how Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum might affect you, let’s dive into the ingredients:

Vitamin C

Vitamin C is used in many skincare products because it is a proven antioxidant and as such, may reduce the visible effects of oxidative stress on the skin (wrinkles, chronic inflammation etc). Still, we are not told what concentration vitamin C was used for, which leaves its safety in question.

Cica

Cica, or centella asiatica as it is referred to by its scientific designation, may help reduce overall skin irritation and chronic dryness. The National Institutes of Health has stated in one of their studies on the effects of cica on skin that:

Some studies suggest that the use of C. asiatica or its components may be useful in the treatment of psoriasis and scleroderma.

However, more studies are needed to confirm the safety and method of action of cica as it is used on skin.

Adenosine

Adenosine is a type of nucleoside that occurs naturally within the cells of the human body. There have been some studies that seem to suggest that this ingredient has considerable anti-aging effects. For instance, the National Institutes of Health has stated that:

Activation of adenosine receptors by interacting with various skin layers may induce a decrease in the amount of wrinkles, roughness, dryness, and laxity.

Panthenol

Panthenol is a man-made form of vitamin B5. So it should be noted that this is a synthetic ingredient. However, there have been some studies that suggest that panthenol, even in a synthetic state, could help stabilize the skin and improve its overall integrity.

Green Tea Extract

Green tea is a natural source of antioxidants and polyphenols that may be useful for providing an antioxidant boost to the skin. Green Tea Extract can help protect the skin from environmental damage, support collagen production, and delay signs of aging such as wrinkles and fine lines.

However, the usefulness of green tea for skin improvement has been a matter of debate as we read in the following NIH report:

Despite several benefits, clinical evidence only supports the use of oral green tea preparations to protect skin from damage induced by ultraviolet radiation; in other cases, conflicting results and methodological limits of clinical trials do not allow one to clarify their efficacy.

How to Use Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum?

You are only supposed to use Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum after applying a toner to your skin. Once you have done that, apply Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum in even strokes in the morning and at night.

Benefits of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum

Skin Stabilization – The molecules of your skin need to remain balanced and stable in order to maintain young-looking skin. Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum may enhance the structural integrity of your skin.

Fewer Wrinkles – Some of the ingredients in the Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum formula like panthenol may help to smooth out wrinkles, fine lines, and creases on your skin.

Brighter Complexion – The makers of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum also claim that it will brighten your complexion. There are also claims that it will benefit your skin by making it smoother to the touch.

Side Effects of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum

There have been some customers of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum who have complained of minor side effects. For instance, one customer named Cat said that Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum dried her skin out.

While these kinds of effects may not be typical, it should still be noted if you are thinking of buying Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum.

Safety of Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum

The consumer should also keep in mind that while Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum does contain some natural ingredients, there are also parts of the formula that have clearly been man-made or synthesized.

Noticed a Difference, But Be Careful with Dry Skin
I’ve been using Meebak Korean Vitamin C Serum for a few weeks now, and I did notice some improvements in my skin’s texture. It feels smoother, and there’s a healthy glow that wasn’t there before. However, I have combination skin, and I did experience some dryness, especially around my cheeks. I’d recommend using a good moisturizer along with it if your skin tends to get dry like mine. It seems to work well overall but might not be suitable for everyone.
