There are many types of skin care products formulated for particular skin problems. For instance, skin brighteners are available for skin discolorations.

Most skin brightening products address dark spots and other skin problems related to hyperpigmentation. There are also other skin brighteners that address other skin discolorations like visible blood vessels and redness on the face. The biggest problem in regards to skin brighteners is choosing a product since there are literally hundreds of brands claiming to be the best.

To assist you in finding an excellent skin brightener, let’s take a known brand under scrutiny and discover if it is a good product worth purchasing or not.

Revitol Rosacea Cream

What is Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream?

Rosacea Treatment Cream is an over-the-counter treatment from Revitol which addresses rosacea. It doesn’t just eliminate the redness on the nose, cheeks, chin or forehead but also reduces the appearance of visible veins in certain areas of the face.

It also helps reduce pimples and bumps on the face and contains active ingredients that target thickened skin. It is essentially a product that treats all of the symptoms of rosacea which is a common skin problem that affects over 16 million people in the United States alone.

Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream Ingredients

According to the Revitol website, the rosacea treatment cream contains a combination of natural anti-inflammatory ingredients that work to quickly constrict blood vessels right below the surface of the skin.

This reduces redness and flushing quickly upon application of the formula. It also contains natural bacteria-fighting agents that kill bacteria on the surface of the skin. This prevents rosacea breakouts and the formation of pimples.

Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream also contains ingredients that boost collagen production. Rosacea is known to weaken collagen in the skin making it very difficult for the skin to recover from breakouts.

Increasing collagen production makes the skin more resilient and helps fight rosacea more effectively. Certain ingredients also regulate natural oils in the skin to protect it from environmental damage and prevent dryness of the skin.

The obvious problem with the formulation is that there is no list of active ingredients on the product’s website making it a lot more difficult to determine if the product really works.

Does It Really Work?

The main problem with Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream is the fact that it has not undergone independent clinical testing for effectiveness or safety.

Thus, there is no substantial evidence that it is really effective or safe. However, most customer feedback and reviews on the rosacea treatment product are positive saying it works. On the other hand, there is also negative feedback from customers saying it didn’t work for certain cases due to unknown reasons.

Advantages

  • It is from a known skin care company
  • It reduces redness on the face
  • It reduces the appearance of visible blood vessels
  • It helps prevent the formation of pimples
  • It helps soften thickened skin
  • There are many customer reviews saying it works
  • It is an over-the-counter treatment for rosacea

Disadvantages

  • There is no clinical proof that the product is really effective or safe
  • There are no details on the formulation of Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream. There is even no specific list of active ingredients on the product’s website
  • There is no money back guarantee
  • There are also many customers that say it isn’t very effective
  • It is a little expensive ($49.95 for a small jar)
  • It doesn’t work on dark spots and other hyper pigmentation problems

Is Revitol Rosacea Cream Safe?

The rosacea treatment cream from Revitol is not clinically proven to be safe.

However, there are no known serious side effects from using the treatment cream. Some users stated experiencing skin irritation which may be due to hypersensitivity to any of the cream’s ingredients. If you have sensitive skin, it would be best to consult a skin care professional before using this product.

Will Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream Show Results?

According to numerous customer feedback and reviews, it shows results but in many cases it isn’t considerable. Most users say it works but the effects are only minimal reducing redness slightly.

For reducing visible blood vessels, the product takes a few weeks to show results. There’s also a substantial number of customer feedback saying Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream doesn’t really show results even after a few weeks of using it.

What Can I Expect from Using Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream?

If you’re planning to purchase the rosacea treatment cream from Revitol, expect a slight improvement with your rosacea symptoms.

The redness will be reduced a little but in most cases it cannot be completely eliminated. The treatment cream may also help prevent rosacea breakouts in most cases. However, the cream can lead to skin irritation especially on individuals who have highly sensitive skin.

Final Verdict

Since many people who have tried Revitol Rosacea Treatment Cream say it is effective, it is a good skin brightening product but only for treating rosacea symptoms.

The problem is that it doesn’t really offer considerable results in most cases due to unknown reasons. Another major downside is the fact that it is not clinically proven to be effective or safe. It is still worth trying but there are many better alternatives on the market.

Skin Brighteners aid in reducing post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation revealing even skin tone. Skin brighteners also can help revitalize tired and dull skin resulting in a youthful, healthy glow.

This cream did not reduce redness
I’ve been using this Rosacea cream for 3 months twice daily and there is no sign of improvement to the redness on my face. I bought 3 of these creams and plan to continue to use it in hopes of the results changing.

I’m not sure what type of skin the people had with good reviews. I will not buy this again.
