How Does Alani Nu Pre-Workout Dietary Supplement Work?

Alani Nu Pre-Workout promises to maximize your performance results by sustaining more energy while trying hard to lose weight and buildup muscle mass.

To learn more about how this product works, when we drink it before exercise, it’s best to examine each component individually.

This shake includes 200 mg of caffeine, the most common part of most fitness brands, known as an energizing & stimulating agent. However, in Alani Nu Pre-Workout, the critical ingredient L-citrulline stands out as a powerful component known for its ability to enhance blood flow, dilate blood vessels, and aid in muscle recovery.

This ingredient, also found in BlackWolf Workout Eliminate, promotes the body’s ability to repair itself by boosting the regeneration of body cells at an accelerated rate, ensuring swift recovery from intense or strenuous workout routines.

Beta-alanine is another ingredient in this supplement, with presumable exercise effects. Beta-alanine is a carnosine precursor, therefore raising the amount of carnosine, a significant amino acid in the muscles. This molecule’s role is to stop lactic acid accumulation, which might happen after a challenging workout. The lactic acid buildup is considered one of the main reasons our body aches when we exhaust ourselves too much[1].

L-tyrosine is the next substance in Alani Nu Pre-Workout and gained the attention of researchers as one of the dopamine synthesizing steps. While other ingredients are stimulators, L-theanine works as a buffer and doesn’t let the body lose focus because of over-agitation.

Alani Nu Pre-Workout Supplement Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

Here are some of the key ingredients in Alani Nu Pre-Workout, and the scientific facts behind them:

Alani Nu Pre-Workout Supplements Facts

Alani Nu Pre-Workout Supplements Facts

L-Citrulline

Citrulline malate is a substance with the potential to boost energy levels during a workout by supercharging nitric oxide metabolism, therefore helping muscle cells have more blood flow while weight-lifting.

Studies like Takashi Suzuki’s in 2016, have shown Citrulline supplementation can significantly relieve muscle fatigue after exercise. Reported also confirms how L-citrulline present in Kraken Pump improves exercise performance and recovery[2].

Beta-Alanine

Beta-alanine is a popular supplement known for its potential benefits in enhancing workout performance and reducing fatigue during high-intensity exercise. As discussed in our BlackWolf Pre-workout Review, beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid that combines with histidine to form carnosine, a compound found in skeletal muscle tissue. Carnosine acts as a buffer against the acid build-up in muscles during intense exercise, helping to delay fatigue and improve exercise performance.

Research suggests that supplementing with beta-alanine can increase carnosine levels in muscles over time, leading to improvements in endurance, strength, and power output during workouts[3].

L-Tyrosine

L-tyrosine is an amino acid believed to improve dopamine production, aka the “feel-good” hormone, that enhances your motivation to do something. Based on scientific findings, Oral tyrosine supplementation can enhance the body’s potential in the heat of exercise[4].

Other clinical research, like the one conducted by J. B. Deijen, focused on different aspects of consuming tyrosine molecules, like reducing blood pressure & boosting cognitive abilities in combat training[5].

Caffeine

Caffeine is a popular stimulant known for its ability to boost energy, improve focus, and enhance athletic performance. It’s a common ingredient in pre-workout supplements and is widely used by athletes and bodybuilders to maximize their training sessions and achieve better results.

As detailed in our D-Bal Max Reviews, caffeine can increase alertness and reduce perceived exertion during exercise, allowing individuals to train harder and longer. It has been shown to improve endurance performance, increase strength, and enhance power output, making it a valuable tool for those looking to optimize their workouts.

Customers Reviews on Alani Nu Pre-Workout Supplements

I admit it is a famous brand, and that is why I was tempted to purchase from them. It is pretty flavorful, and I loved the energy and vigor, but I feel jitters throughout my reps, and I can’t get over the fact that my hands and arms all get itchy non-stop! I guess it is not for me.
– Tim

I’m a gym enthusiast, and I always have to have a protein shake or pre-workout mixture on hand. I used several Alani Nu flavors, and they are definitely delicious and give me a good vibe. I can mix them easily with cold water in my shaker, which has a good kick.
– Frank

I heard this one was a good choice from my friends in the chatroom and bought it online. Maybe I can get over the fact that it tastes like chemicals, but the horrible feeling of itching it gives is unbearable. I just wished I could return it and take the money I spent on this, but they don’t offer any decent refund.
– Samanta

If you want something that keeps you til the end of your three hours workout, I recommend these products. It is tasty, enjoyable, and refreshing with no crashes. I love them, and for beginners, I suggest taking them slow.
– Isabela

  1. Tony

    Tastes so good!!!!!!!!
I frequently consume pre-workout mixtures. I tried a variety of brands and tastes (mains are OSL 275mg on light days and Ryse 400mg on heavy days). This one had a nice flavor, was simple to combine in a shaker with cold water, and provided a respectable stimulant. Due to the lesser caffeine dosage, I would suggest this pre-workout to beginners, although it definitely lasts through my typical program (two hours).
