How Does Native Greens Work?

The formula for Native Greens contains many different types of ingredients that are supposed to work by supplementing some of the nutrients that you may not be getting in your current diet.

For instance, Native Path Greens contain ingredients like spirulina which may contain nutrients that are rare in most Western diets. Spirulina may work to provide cognitive benefits.

Overall though, Native Greens are claimed to work by benefiting the way the brain and body work together.

Native Greens Ingredients – Are They Safe & Effective?

Now let’s take a look at some of the active ingredients that are claimed to give Native Greens its varied health benefits:

Organic Blueberries

Blueberries are well-known sources of antioxidants that can help reduce oxidative stress on the organs. There have also been some studies to suggest that blueberries can improve cardiovascular health.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a type of green algae that has been recognized as being nutrient-dense. According to the National Institutes of Health, it may reduce inflammation of brain cells and preserve cognitive function.

Organic Acai

Acai berries are also nutrient-dense and considered a superfood. Some studies suggest that the antioxidants in acai berries can help fend off infections and improve gastrointestinal health.

Organic Astragalus

The National Institutes of Health have conducted a study on astragalus and how it affects blood glucose levels. They found that astragalus can help reduce blood sugar levels; but that more tests are needed to confirm these effects.

Organic Broccoli

Broccoli is a cruciferous vegetable that may have multiple health benefits. For instance, the NIH reports that it may help improve digestive function. They report that:

Herein, we report that consumption of 200 g per day of cooked broccoli as part of a completely controlled feeding study in healthy adults impacted the community structure of the gastrointestinal microbiota with the greatest changes in the relative abundances of bacteria in the Bacteroidetes phylum.

Its antioxidant-rich profile and digestive support potential have made it a core ingredient in high-quality superfood blends, as highlighted in our Living Fuel SuperGreens Review, where broccoli’s contribution to gut health and nutrient density is emphasized.

Benefits of Native Greens

  • Antioxidant Support – There are multiple ingredients in the Native Greens formula that are regarded as antioxidant-rich. This product may therefore protect the organs from oxidative stress.
  • Better Digestion – Ingredients like organic broccoli extract may help proliferate good gut bacteria. This may help improve bowel movement regularity and reduce intestinal inflammation.
  • Cardiovascular Support – Some of the organic ingredients in the Native Greens formula may help to support cardiovascular function and reduce the buildup of arterial plaque.

Side Effects of Native Greens

As of the time of this writing, there had been no reports by consumers of any serious side effects. Most of the Native Greens ingredients are organic so that may help mitigate the risk of side effects.

However, Native Greens does contain coconut extract which is a type of tree nut that some users may have allergic reactions to.

Safety of Native Greens

Native Greens was produced under the guidelines of Good Manufacturing Practices and does not contain added peanuts or soy. However, it should be noted that it was made on machinery that also processes some questionable ingredients.

For example, Native Greens was made on equipment that also makes milk, eggs, and fish products.

  1. Mike Henderson

    No more bloating after lunch
I used to feel so bloated and tired every single afternoon, no matter what I ate. I started taking Native Greens every morning about three weeks ago, and the difference is huge. My stomach feels much flatter and I don’t get that heavy, sluggish feeling anymore. It actually tastes pretty good too, which was a nice surprise! It’s the only supplement I’ve stuck with because I can actually feel it working.

Supergreens by living fuel: not worth the hype for me
I’ve used Living Fuel SuperGreens for six weeks, one scoop in 12oz water daily. No boost in energy or immunity, and digestion’s only marginally better. The chalky, green taste is tough to stomach, and mild bloating lingers. At $84.97 for 12 servings, it’s too costly with no refund option. I’m underwhelmed and won’t buy again.
