Girlene Coughlin

Girlene is a graduate of Rutgers University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutritional Science before attending the Dietetic Internship Program at the University of Medicine and Dentistry at Rutgers.

She is certified in Adult Weight Management (Levels 1 and 2) by Commission on Dietetic Registration, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM - National Academy of Sports Medicine.

Girlene is a bariatric dietitian at East Orange Hospital in New Jersey, and she also owns her nutrition business called The Brazilian Dietitian, and through her business, she is contacted mainly by Brazilian, Portuguese and Hispanic patients who want to improve their health.
