What is Eukroma?

Eukroma is a skin-lightening cream meant to reduce melanin pigmentation. It also works to lighten age spots, liver spots, freckles, acne scars, or hyperpigmentation left by sun exposure or pregnancy.

It is manufactured by an international company, Yash Pharma Laboratories, established in 1972 in India.

Though the product has an official listing on the manufacturer’s website, it isn’t all that information and you can’t buy the product through the site.

How Does Eukroma Work?

Eukroma’s key ingredient is hydroquinone. It’s an enzyme that decreases melanin production and causes the breakdown of melanosomes (which also contain melanin).

By doing both these things, hydroquinone decreases the amount of melanin present in the skin so that the darker areas fade to match the rest of your skin tone.

Eukroma is a cream that is applied directly to the skin.

Eukroma Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

Hydroquinone

According to the study, it is a chemical compound that inhibits melanin[1] production.

FAQ’s

Q: How to Use Eukroma?

A: Eukroma should be used twice daily for up to four weeks minimum. If you haven’t seen any results after three months, stop treatment.

Once the desired lighting effect is achieved, you can use the cream as needed for maintenance.

If you wish to put makeup, sunscreen, or moisturizers over Eukroma, you can do so once it is thoroughly rubbed in.

Q: What do I do if I missed a daily application of Eukroma?

A: Apply a missed dose as soon as you remember but before it’s time for your next dose. If this occurs, just skip the missed dose. Never apply a double dose.

Q: When should I expect to see results?

A: You must use Eukroma for at least four weeks before you see any results. It may take longer.

Q: What are the Side Effects of Eukroma?

A: The ingredients in Eukroma can cause skin sensitivity and irritation. Sodium metabisulphite has been known to cause severe allergic reactions.

In rare cases, it can lead to exogenous ochronosis: blue/black pigmentation. This can occur with long-term use.

If you use this product alongside peroxide products, it can cause a darkening of the skin, rather than lightening.

  • Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Do not apply to the eyes or mouth, and stay out of direct sunlight.

What Do the Reviews Say?

It actually doesn’t accomplish anything. It might give you some short-term skin comfort for a few hours, but the expense is not justified. I haven’t noticed any notable advantages as a result of using it.

Conclusion

Eukroma has a sufficient official website, but it isn’t all that informative. You cannot purchase the product through it either.

Eukroma is effective at lightening a large array of problem areas such as acne scars, age spots, liver spots, freckles, sun damage, and even melasma, which results from pregnancy and contraceptives.

The key ingredients in Eukroma are widely known to cause skin irritation and allergic reactions, so always test the product on a small area of the skin before doing a full application.

Eukroma is available at a wide variety of retailers at a wide variety of prices, so if you plan to purchase, it would be best to look at multiple sites and compare costs.

Doesn't support my hope at all!
I’ve used a variety of creams to reduce the dryness and redness on my very sensitive and dry skin. I tried this Eukroma cream in the hopes that it might bring me some relief, however, it was disappointingly ineffective for me. The cream itself has a really airy, silky feel and is applied well. Sadly, after just one day of use, it inflamed my skin, causing even more redness and irritation. Just my own experience with this stuff.
