Overview

No one wants to lose their hair. Whether you’re a man or a woman, thinning hair can be a great source of distress. But that’s why there are supplements like New Nordic Hair Volume. New Nordic Hair Volume is claimed to be a unique product because it uses traditional Nordic remedies for common hair thinning.

While the makers of New Nordic Hair Volume say that their product will work to give your hair a thicker appearance and to help prevent breakage, they also acknowledge that this is not a hair growth supplement. So New Nordic Hair Volume won’t actually help you grow new hair.

Instead, it was formulated for people with normal hair growth who simply want to make their follicles more resilient, make their hair appear thicker, and add more volume to it. Considering all that, is New Nordic Hair Volume worthwhile? Find out in the following New Nordic Hair Volume review.

What Is New Nordic Hair Volume?

New Nordic Hair Volume is a supplement that was formulated to improve the health of your hair and to make it look thicker. New Nordic Hair Volume comes in tablet form so it may be a bit more convenient than hair supplements that come in gel, serum, shampoo, or liquid form.

New Nordic Hair Volume has not reached a very wide audience yet as the company has yet to penetrate the American market very deeply. Still, some people say that New Nordic Hair Volume works to volumize hair. There are also claims that New Nordic Hair Volume will strengthen nails as well.

It should also be noted that New Nordic Hair Volume contains a natural formula and is free of banned substances and harsh synthetic chemicals. For the most part, people use New Nordic Hair Volume to help improve the appearance and feel of their hair and to prevent hair loss.

How Does New Nordic Hair Volume Work?

It should be noted yet again that New Nordic Hair Volume is not a supplement that is claimed to work to regrow hair. Rather, it is a supplement developed for people with normal hair growth who simply want to enhance their existing hair. So how does New Nordic Hair Volume enhance hair?

To answer this question we have to look at the formula. New Nordic Hair Volume contains biotin which is a fairly common type of B vitamin that is often linked to hair restoration. Biotin is said to work by strengthening both hair and nail follicles which would coincide with the claims made by the manufacturer of New Nordic Hair Volume.

However, biotin has only been observed to improve hair conditions in people who have biotin deficiencies. In other cases where test subjects had normal levels of biotin in their systems, supplementation did not produce a significant improvement in hair growth, hair growth rate, or follicle strength.

New Nordic Hair Volume Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

Let’s dig deeper into the New Nordic Hair Volume formula and see what scientific studies have revealed about the ingredients:

Zinc

Zinc is a mineral that is usually recommended for improved immune strength. It has many health applications though and it is said to be linked with hair loss because low zinc levels have often been exhibited in people with alopecia. However, more studies need to be conducted to confirm zinc’s efficacy for hair health.

Copper

Copper is another mineral that has been linked with hair growth. Some studies suggest that copper can stimulate hair growth by increasing blood flow to the scalp.

Copper may also work without side effects. In fact, the National Institutes of Health has mentioned that:

Copper peptides (GHK-Cu) are a powerful hair growth promoter with minimal side effects when compared with minoxidil and finasteride

Millet Extract

Millet is a type of grass seed that has been noted in some studies for possible hair growth acceleration. Millet may increase follicle diameter, giving the hair a thicker appearance. The Pubmed staff has also indicated that millet may help prevent hair loss caused by alopecia.

Pantothenic Acid

Pantothenic acid is a form of vitamin B5. Preliminary studies have suggested that pantothenic acid may help slow hair loss by proliferating healthy skin cells. However, there is still a lack of evidence on how it may benefit hair in other ways since hair growth is not a universal benefit of this ingredient.

Biotin

Biotin is another type of B vitamin that is commonly used in hair growth products. Some studies have noted an improvement in volume in test subjects who were treated with biotin. At the end of such studies though, it has been stated that:

However, we propose these cases are uncommon and that there is lack of sufficient evidence for supplementation in healthy individuals.

  • Improved Texture – In any case, New Nordic Hair Volume contains vitamins that are considered beneficial for hair health. So it may work to make your hair smoother and improve luster.

Side Effects of New Nordic Hair Volume

What Do the New Nordic Hair Volume Reviews Say?

People who liked New Nordic Hair Volume say that it improved the appearance of their hair. Dissenters said it caused troubling side effects:

I tried these again hoping maybe they would be better for whatever reason. Crushed them up completely into some applesauce. Within 15-20 mins of eating it I threw up everything! So clearly there’s some ingredient in these pills that my body doesn’t like. – Rachel

After using the product, as directed on the box (one pill a day) , on day 3 I broke out in a rash on my chest, back, and stomach. I looked up information on biotin and found out that a common side effect was a rash if taking a large dose (which this is).– Roberta

I’ve been using this supplement for about 3 months now. Can notice a huge improvement in both my nails and hair. Will continue to purchase this product. My nails no longer break and seem to grow really fast. My hair is looking very thick and healthy, and I’m over age 65.

Some volume… not the boom i wanted
I’ve been on this supplement for about 2 months now. My hair was feeling flat and lifeless before, especially after stress shedding. It did give me slightly fuller roots and less shedding in the shower, but nothing dramatic. Good if you want a slow and steady nudge, but I was hoping for more wow-factor volume.
