Overview

It’s no wonder why stress and anxiety are among the leading mental health issues in the United States. Political unrest, economic uncertainty, a changing job market, increasing demands at work, and school all contribute to high stress levels. Not to mention a lack of sleep and a poor diet.

But there are some supplements that can offset some of these effects and help you get your stress under control. Today, we will be reviewing one such supplement called Adaptocrine. According to the manufacturers of this product, it may offer both physical and mental health benefits.

For instance, one of the main claims made about this supplement is that it will help the body and the brain adapt to stressful situations. There are also claims that Adaptocrine will provide solid antioxidant support. In the following Adaptocrine review, we will provide you with a fair and even-handed assessment of Adaptocrine.

What Is Adaptocrine?

Adaptocrine is a dietary supplement that comes in capsule form. There are 90 capsules per container, and at a serving size of 1 capsule per day, there are about 90 servings in each bottle. Adaptocrine is sold through a number of popular 3rd party retail sites, but it does not appear to be available through an official company website.

Be that as it may, Adaptocrine is still gaining momentum among consumers who want to lower their stress levels. The formula for Adaptocrine is natural. It does not contain any harsh stimulants, steroids, or banned substances, so you can get it without a physician’s prescription.

Adaptocrine is marketed towards people who deal with high levels of bodily and mental stress on a daily basis. Adaptocrine may also provide good immune and antioxidant support, though it should be noted that supplements like these tend to affect every user differently.

Who Is The Manufacturer of Adaptocrine?

The company that makes Adaptocrine is called Apex Energetics, and their name reflects their mission statement. The company is mostly concerned with creating supplements that supply mental and physical energy through natural supplementation.

Apex Energetics also clearly emphasizes natural formulations. However, they don’t currently have their own website, which can be a bit of a red flag and may repel consumers looking for a reliable supplement company.

How Does Adaptocrine Work?

To understand how Adaptocrine is supposed to work, it would be a good idea to examine the claims made about it. The makers of Adaptocrine claim that their product will provide mental energy as well as adrenal energy. So it is apparent that Adaptocrine is supposed to have an effect on hormone release.

While increasing adrenal secretion may result in a temporary burst of energy, it may not be the healthiest way of increasing physical energy. So what about the claims that Adaptocrine will enhance mental energy as well? Unfortunately, there is little in the Adaptocrine formula to support this claim.

What the formula for Adaptocrine does tell us is that it might work to boost concentration and alleviate moderate stress. The likelihood that this supplement will work for chronic anxiety seems minimal, though.

Adaptocrine Key Ingredients – Are They Safe And Effective?

Here’s a breakdown of the key active ingredients in the Adaptocrine formula:

Panax Ginseng Root Extract

There have been animal studies that suggest that supplementation with Panax Ginseng (sometimes called Asian Ginseng) can suppress stress and help prevent conditions of depression. However, as this was an animal model study, the results may not be translatable to humans.

Ashwagandha Root Extract

Ashwagandha is an herb that is commonly used in Indian medical practices as an Adaptogen – a substance that can help the brain adapt or resist the effects of stress in various ways. Some studies have also shown that Ashwagandha can help improve sleep quality.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract

Rhodiola Rosea is one of the ingredients in this formula that may be able to promote mental energy. According to the National Institutes of Health, “R. Rosea was found to exert a notable anti-fatigue effect that increased mental performance, particularly the ability to concentrate, and decreased cortisol response to awakening stress in burnout patients.”

Holy Basil

Holy Basil is another herb that has been linked to anti-stress effects. Holy Basil may also lower cortisol levels, which is the hormone that is released in the body in response to stressful situations. However, not all the studies on Holy Basil came to this same conclusion, so more thorough testing is needed.

Eleuthero Root Extract

Eleuthero Extract (also known as Siberian Ginseng) is yet another herbal ingredient that may address increased levels of stress and mental fatigue. However, leading medical authorities have acknowledged that the overall effect may only be minimal.

How To Use Adaptocrine?

A single serving size of Adaptocrine is just one capsule a day. It would be a good idea for anyone interested in taking Adaptocrine to speak with their doctor about how to use it.

Benefits Of Adaptocrine

  • Mental Energy
If you are feeling mentally sluggish or can’t seem to concentrate effectively, Adaptocrine may be able to help by providing a boost of mental energy through natural herbs.
  • Adrenal Energy
There are also claims that Adaptocrine will provide you with more physical energy through an increase in adrenal hormones. However, this effect may not be safe for all users.
  • Better Mental Performance
If Adaptocrine can help reduce stress and anxiety levels, it may be able to boost your cognitive performance, which may help you with work, school, and daily tasks.

Side Effects Of Adaptocrine

There haven’t been any complaints about side effects, but then again, there aren’t a lot of Adaptocrine customer reviews to pool from in the first place. Some of the herbal ingredients may cause abdominal distress.

Safety Of Adaptocrine

Adaptocrine is made with natural ingredients, but we are not told whether the company has earned any awards or certificates for manufacturing safety. It would therefore be a good idea to run Adaptocrine by your physician before actually taking it.

Adaptocrine Pricing

The price for Adaptocrine will vary from site to site because it isn’t sold through an official company website. But you can find a bottle for sale on popular retail sites like Amazon for around $85.

The formula is also natural and may provide moderate antioxidant support as a bonus. On the other hand, some of the effects of Adaptocrine may not be safe for all users, and some ingredients may not work for excessive stress.

Depression and anxiety are common disorders that can make daily tasks extremely challenging. Some estimates allege that approximately one in ten Americans suffer from some level of depression and/or anxiety. Symptoms of anxiety and depression include ongoing feelings of sadness accompanied by unease, irritability, tension, and nervousness. While some people require medication to deal with these occasionally crippling symptoms, others may find an all-natural product helpful. An all natural relaxation supplement should promote healthy neurological function. All ingredients should be clinically proven to reduce feelings of anxiousness, sadness, unease, irritability, tension, and nervousness.

Below you'll find some of the most effective natural nervousness relief supplements on the market today, in our opinion.

Helps a little with burnout fatigue, that’s it
Almost 3 months daily. Rhodiola and ashwagandha made afternoons slightly less dead feeling, maybe 15-20% calmer on average. But anxiety attacks still hit hard, no real cortisol drop (tested). Capsules huge and smell funky, upset my stomach first few weeks. $200+ for the 3-month supply from chiropractor markup is insane when bulk herbs + Gaia adaptogens work better for $40. Meh, not renewing.
