Overview

Aging is one of those natural processes that no cream can truly stop, but many products promise to make the signs less visible. Wrinkles, fine lines, and sagging skin are common struggles, often driven by loss of collagen and daily exposure to stress and sunlight. Consumers are increasingly turning to anti-aging creams in hopes of finding smoother, firmer skin without resorting to invasive treatments. Yet, for every promise of rejuvenation, there’s usually a dose of skepticism about what’s genuinely effective.

One such product gaining attention is Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Cream, a moisturizer from Genomma Lab’s Cicatricure line. Marketed as an affordable yet advanced solution, it claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and expression lines “from the first use.” The inclusion of ingredients like Q-Acetyl 10 and peptides makes it sound impressive, though its results are often subjective.

TL;DR

  • Nearly 90% of visible skin aging comes from sun exposure and collagen loss, which is why wrinkles and sagging skin become more noticeable with age.
  • Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Cream is an affordable anti-aging moisturizer made with peptides and Q-Acetyl 10 to help soften the look of wrinkles and expression lines.
  • Some users notice smoother, more hydrated skin after regular use, but results vary based on skin type, age, and consistency.

In this article, we’ll take a closer look at this cream its formula, claims, and user experiences to help you decide if it’s truly worth adding to your skincare routine or just another product with lofty promises.

What Is Cicatricure Skin Cream?

The Cicatricure Skin Cream is an anti-aging skin care cream or simply a skin care cream that keeps your skin looking younger.

The product is used to help those dealing with the effects of aging on the skin either eliminate them completely or at least, minimize them to maximize their volume, density, or visibility.

The skin care cream’s intention is to maintain your skin vibrant, radiant, glowing, and youthful-looking skin for as long as it is possible.

The cream for wrinkles on forehead slows down these aging effects from blowing up on your skin if you can say that. According to the brand, visible improvements can be seen after the first few uses, though such claims depend heavily on skin type and consistency of use. Available in a 2.1 oz (60g) container, the product serves as both a day and night cream, making it a convenient option for daily skincare. Despite its affordability and accessibility, its actual anti-wrinkle performance remains debatable among users.

About The Brand

Cicatricure is a skincare brand under Genomma Lab International, a Mexico-based company recognized for its expansive portfolio of over-the-counter and personal care products. The brand has built its reputation around accessible skincare that promises visible results, often marketed heavily in Latin America and the U.S. The manufacturer, Genomma Lab, is publicly traded and licensed to distribute globally, giving the brand a sense of credibility in terms of compliance and reach.

However, while Genomma Lab enjoys wide consumer trust for affordability, it occasionally faces criticism for relying on marketing-heavy approaches rather than robust scientific transparency. Many of its “clinically tested” claims are based on internal studies, not peer-reviewed publications. Still, Cicatricure remains a go-to option for consumers seeking budget-friendly skincare solutions, even if its formulations tend to focus more on sensory appeal like fragrance and texture than breakthrough scientific results.

How Does Cicatricure Skin Cream Work?

The mechanism behind Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Cream centers on a blend of peptides and botanical extracts. The brand highlights its proprietary compound, Q-Acetyl 10, which supposedly mimics the effects of acetyl hexapeptide-8, a peptide known for reducing muscle contractions that cause expression lines.

Cicatricure Face Cream enhances the appearance of the skin, protects it from oxidative damage, and prevents aging signs.

Acne, wrinkles, and crow’s feet can be treated with the Cicatricure cream, as it is antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antifungal.

This multipurpose formula will help to fight inflammation and improve skin health. It also boosts moisture levels and increases skin firmness. However, the scientific community offers mixed reviews on topical peptides’ ability to penetrate deeply enough to create such effects.

Centella Asiatica Extract

Centella Asiatica is known for its ability to stimulate collagen synthesis and accelerate wound healing.

A 2024 study in Pharmaceutics found that Centella Asiatica enhances skin firmness and elasticity by improving collagen production and reducing oxidative stress. [2]

How To Use Cicatricure Skin Cream?

Cleanse the skin thoroughly before applying Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Cream. Using upward motions, apply a small amount to the face and neck every morning and evening until fully absorbed. Avoid direct contact with eyes or broken skin.

The cream can be used alone or under makeup as a daily moisturizer. Consistent application twice daily is recommended for best results. Individuals with oily or sensitive skin may prefer to start with once-a-day use to test tolerance, especially due to the presence of fragrance and preservatives.

Benefits Of Cicatricure Skin Cream

  • Hydration Support – Provides 24-hour hydration that leaves the skin feeling soft and smooth.
  • Wrinkle Reduction – Claims to minimize the appearance of deep wrinkles and fine lines over time.
  • Improved Elasticity – Peptide and extract blend helps promote firmer skin texture.
  • Radiance Boost – Designed to give dull skin a brighter, refreshed appearance.

While these are the benefits marketed by the brand, user feedback suggests results may vary. Some users report smoother, more hydrated skin, while others notice only minimal changes in wrinkle depth. The moisturizing aspect is the most consistently praised benefit.

Side Effects Of Cicatricure Skin Cream

Though generally safe for most users, Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Cream can cause mild irritation, redness, or breakouts especially for those with sensitive or acne-prone skin. The heavy fragrance and preservatives like parabens and DMDM hydantoin may trigger allergic reactions in some individuals. A few users also report a greasy after-feel, which could lead to clogged pores if over-applied.

While these side effects are typically mild and temporary, they underscore the importance of patch-testing before regular use. For those seeking fragrance-free or clean-label skincare, this product might not be the best fit despite its affordability.

Safety Of Cicatricure Skin Cream

The product is labeled for external use only and should not be applied on irritated or broken skin. It’s dermatologically tested but not explicitly hypoallergenic. Cicatricure’s formula is compliant with general skincare safety standards, but the inclusion of parabens and urea may concern ingredient-conscious consumers. The manufacturer also advises discontinuing use if irritation occurs.

While the cream is safe for most adults, those with sensitive skin or allergies to synthetic fragrance components should proceed cautiously. There’s no evidence of FDA approval for specific anti-aging claims, as this is a cosmetic, not a therapeutic product.

Cicatricure Skin Cream Price

The Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Cream retails for around $12.94 on Amazon for a 2.1-ounce jar, making it one of the most affordable anti-aging creams on the market. It’s frequently offered at discounted rates or through Subscribe & Save options, sometimes reducing the price to under $12 per unit. Multi-pack bundles are also available, often with additional savings.

Given its price, the product is positioned as a drugstore alternative to premium anti-aging creams. However, its affordability might come at the cost of advanced formulation quality or fragrance-free safety.

What Do the Cicatricure Skin Cream Reviews Say?

Overall, customer feedback is mixed. While many appreciate its moisturizing qualities, the consensus suggests that its anti-wrinkle results may not be as immediate or dramatic as marketed.

It’s an okay cream. It softens the skin, but the anti-wrinkle claims didn’t live up to expectations after a month of use.
~ Peter L.

Feels nice and smooth, but left some shine on my face. It works for hydration, though results on fine lines were minimal.
~ Grace T.

I like the texture, but it didn’t really do much for my deep wrinkles. Worth it for the price if you want basic hydration.
~ Darren M.

It actually doesn’t accomplish anything. It might give you some short-term skin comfort for a few hours, but the expense is not justified. I haven’t noticed any notable advantages as a result of using it.

Cicatricure Skin Cream Review – Conclusion

The Cicatricure Skin Cream is a recommendable skin care cream for all consumers out there. One thing that makes any cream very lovable is one that works for all skin types; as most have been known to affect skin tone.

The Cicatricure Deep Anti-Wrinkle Face & Neck Cream delivers decent hydration at an attractive price, making it a reasonable choice for those seeking an affordable daily moisturizer with light anti-aging benefits.

However, its claims of “visible results from first use” lean more toward marketing exaggeration than clinical reality.

The presence of strong fragrance and parabens might be off-putting for sensitive users, and its wrinkle-reducing effects are subtle at best. While it may soften and smooth the skin temporarily, it’s not likely to produce transformative results. Those seeking stronger or cleaner anti-aging formulas might consider alternatives with proven actives like retinol or niacinamide instead.

There are countless anti-wrinkle creams on the market promising to make skin look and feel younger. Many anti-wrinkle creams promise everything short of a facelift or to provide the much sought after "fountain of youth". In reality most are just moisturizers marketed as anti-aging products.

Smells nice, works a little nothing wild
Picked this up bc it was cheap and all over Amazon. Texture is creamy and it does make my skin feel softer, esp around my neck. But wrinkle claims feel kinda loud for what it actually does. Smell is strong too, like very drugstore.” Didn’t break me out, just didn’t wow me either. It’s fine if you keep expectations low.

    cicatricure cream review
Wow!! just one night of your cicatricure and I can see my forehead wrinkles leaving – I’m 80, truly just started seeing wrinkles, so I’m better than lots of other ladies my age – I definitely will keep using this – bought it yesterday at Fry’s grocery, thankfully, it’s across the street, so I can buy more and my friends can too. Thanks for this, sure saves me lots of money not buying other products which truly cost lots more. Again, thanks a million!!
