I bought Sensum+ and followed the directions (2 sachets daily for 2 weeks). After the 1st 2 weeks, I felt a significant difference.
I continued to use this product (1 sachet daily) and have felt even more progress and regained sensation/sensitivity.
This product absolutely works. The first few times you apply it, it may burn just a tiny bit, after that you don’t even feel it, but you will feel more sensitive.
I’m not saying this will work for everyone, but I highly recommend this product.

When I received the product I applied it as directed twice a day as directed with my penis clean and dry. I noticed immediately it was very warm almost uncomfortably so. By the 2nd day, I realized that the product was making my penis overly sensitive, as I was starting to notice multiple areas on the shaft and head of my penus that were even sensitive when the shower water hit them.
I cut back to 1 application per day for the next 2 days. My penis was only becoming more sensitive to the point of being uncomfortable so I discontinued use together. The next day I attempted to have intercourse with my partner because it was her ovulation week.
I had to cease our relations a few minutes in because the 2 areas that hadn’t first been overly sensitive and uncomfortable were downright painful while trying to have sex. After inspecting my penis it was clear to see that these 2 specific areas were red, irritated, and swollen.
The next day when I inspected my penis again I found that the 2 areas had gotten progressively worse and appeared to be almost like rug burns. The following day I found that white blood cells were actually creating a scab on the surface of these 2 areas. This was extremely troubling.
My penis hurt and I could not perform during my partner’s ovulation cycle so we missed a month trying to conceive. This was very concerning and after looking at the actual ingredients in the Sensum+ cream I was very surprised to find that there were multiple kinds of alcohol used in its production.
I am not an MD but I do know that putting alcohol on your skin can dry it out, irritate it, etc. And putting alcohol on the sensitive skin of your penis mixed with a cream that does not allow it to evaporate off your skin and instead keeps it in full contact and forces your skin to absorb it was not something I would ever try if I had known.
I should have read the ingredients before I used the product. I guess I trusted the manufacturer after reading their reviews and their sales literature and I should not have. I called Aytu Health (the manufacturer) and spoke with a customer service representative.
The customer service representative told me she had worked with Aytu for 7 years and had never heard of a reaction like this. I asked her why there were multiple types of users of a product that goes directed onto the sensitive skin of the penis. She did not have an answer.
I also told her I would be very, very surprised if someone else had not had a very bad reaction like I had given the ingredients in their product. She attempted to offer me a 25% refund for the 3-month supply of Sensum+ I had ordered and then told me I could keep the rest and I could even still use it. I explained to her that she was not hearing me, I would never put their products anywhere near my penis again.
I also explained to her that I did not care about any refund. I wanted to know why their product had essentially burned my penis. I also wanted to make sure it did not harm anyone else. I wanted to speak with someone who could explain to me why it occurred and how to stop the injuries I had sustained to my penis from using their product from getting any worse as they had been for several days now.
The customer service rep told me to ‘keep your penis dry and warm and it will heal’. She then offered me a 50% refund for the product, to which I replied ‘No’ I am not interested in a refund. I again stated that I simply want answers and I want to make sure that Aytu is aware of the issues with their Sensum+ product so they could try and avoid anyone else from being injured and having to experience this.
The rep told me she would need the Lot # from my order which I did not have. I was told to call back the next day with this information. I just got off the phone with another customer service rep who I gave the Lot# and expiration date information and she filled out an ‘Adverse Reaction Form’ that they use.
Once we were done getting the form filled out I asked if someone would be following up with me to provide some answers as to why this occurred and what they would be doing to make sure it did not occur again with someone else. The rep told me after checking with her supervisor that they do not have anyone who can get back to me with an update.
It is infuriating how nonchalantly they are taking this and how little they seem to care about making sure that their Sensum+ product does not injure someone else.
