Overview

The liver and thyroid are connected in ways most people probably do not think about until fatigue, weight changes, poor concentration, or other unexplained concerns enter the picture. That connection has also created a market for supplements claiming to support both organs at the same time.

Conversol is one of those formulas. It combines milk thistle, artichoke, selenium, glutathione, NAC, CoQ10, amino acids, and a few other nutrients in a two-capsule daily serving.

On paper, it looks more comprehensive than a basic milk-thistle supplement. The bigger question is whether the ingredient doses and available research support the expectations created by its thyroid-focused marketing.

Quick Verdict

Conversol is a well-balanced, standardised combination of herbs, antioxidants, amino acids, choline, CoQ10 and selenium that’s clearly labeled to support liver function.

There are some ingredients that have a legitimate nutritional function, such as selenium and choline in thyroid-hormone metabolism and normal liver function, respectively. The actual formula has not been clinically tested, however, and some ingredients are only added in low doses when compared to published studies.

It’s a good general wellness formula, but it is not a cure for hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s disease, abnormal thyroid test results, fatty liver disease or chronic fatigue.

What Is Conversol?

Conversol is a capsule supplement by Miavola that is vegan. The brand promises it is a liver complex that is used for maintaining normal liver and thyroid function.

The bottles have 60 capsules in them. The user is advised to take two capsules daily with a meal and this will last for a month in each bottle.

The formula includes 200 mg standardized milk thistle, 200 mg artichoke extract, 150 mg NAC, 100 mg CoQ10, 82.5 mg choline, 55 mcg selenium, reduced glutathione, amino acids, dandelion root and alpha-lipoic acid. It is vegan, gluten-free, GMO-free and free of listed additives.

How Does It Work?

Conversol is based on the idea that supporting normal liver function may also complement normal thyroid-hormone metabolism.

The liver is involved in the metabolism and elimination of thyroid hormones, and selenium-containing enzymes are involved in the conversion of thyroxine (T4) to triiodothyronine (T3). Choline plays a role in normal lipid transport and liver function, and NAC, glutathione, CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid and some amino acids are involved in antioxidant or cellular-energy pathways.

Traditional liver-supporting herbs include milk thistle, artichoke, and dandelion.
This represents a biologically sound formula, but one that is not proof. The evidence of the benefits of Conversol for T3 levels, correction of hypothyroidism, weight loss, and clinically meaningful changes in liver function is not published.

Manufacturer

Miavola LLC offers wellness solutions for thyroid, liver, hormonal and overall energy support. The company says the brand came about when its founder witnessed a family member suffering from fatigue, weight issues, and few solutions from traditional healthcare. Miavola describes their method as a holistic one, which connects thyroid function to liver health, hormones and everyday health.

Additionally, the company produces educational material and provides thyroid tracking and body temperature tools. It currently serves over 100,000 customers, though this number is self-reported and further substantiated evidence is not listed on its website.

Liver Support

Key Ingredients

Conversol contains several well-known nutrients and botanicals. Each has a reasonable place in the formula, although the strength of the evidence and the relevance of the supplied dose vary considerably.

Milk Thistle Extract

Conversol provides 200 mg of milk thistle seed extract standardised to 80% silymarin. That works out to approximately 160 mg of silymarin per daily serving.

Milk thistle is one of the most widely researched liver-support herbs. A 2024 systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis found improvements in certain liver markers, including ALT and AST, but also concluded that additional high-quality clinical trials are needed to determine its clinical effectiveness.

Artichoke Leaf Extract

The formula contains 200 mg of artichoke leaf extract standardised to 2.5% cynarin. This provides approximately 5 mg of cynarin.

In a double-blind trial involving 100 people with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, researchers studied 600 mg of artichoke leaf extract daily for two months. The researchers reported changes in liver enzymes and ultrasound measurements compared with placebo.

Conversol provides one-third of the artichoke amount used in that trial. The ingredient may support the overall formulation, but the trial should not be interpreted as proof that this product treats fatty liver disease.

NAC, L-Cysteine and L-Methionine

Conversol combines 150 mg of N-acetyl-L-cysteine, 75 mg of L-cysteine hydrochloride, and 100 mg of L-methionine.

NAC supplies cysteine, which the body can use to produce glutathione. Its established medical use in specific forms of acute liver injury should not be confused with the effects expected from a low-dose daily supplement.

The combination makes sense as part of an antioxidant-support blend. Still, the 150 mg NAC amount is modest compared with the 600 mg or higher servings frequently examined in clinical research.

Reduced Glutathione

Glutathione is an antioxidant naturally produced in the body. Conversol supplies 50 mg of reduced glutathione per daily serving.

A six-month randomised clinical trial found that 250 mg and 1,000 mg of oral glutathione increased glutathione levels in several body compartments. Those findings show that oral supplementation can influence glutathione status under certain conditions.

Conversol contains one-fifth of the lower amount used in that trial. The ingredient supports the formula’s antioxidant theme, but it is not a high-dose glutathione product.

Choline

Conversol contains 82.5 mg of choline as choline bitartrate. Choline is an essential nutrient involved in cell membranes, lipid transport, metabolism, and normal liver function.

Choline is required to produce phosphatidylcholine, and humans must obtain some choline through food because the amount produced internally is not always sufficient.

Adult adequate-intake levels are 425 mg daily for most women and 550 mg for most men. Conversol therefore contributes some choline but does not provide a complete daily intake.

Potential Benefits

None of the following outcomes are guaranteed, and the research relates primarily to individual ingredients rather than Conversol itself.

  • Normal Liver Function
Choline contributes to normal liver function, while milk thistle and artichoke have been studied for their effects on certain liver-related markers.
  • Antioxidant Support
Glutathione, NAC, selenium, CoQ10, and alpha-lipoic acid participate in pathways connected with normal antioxidant defences.
  • Thyroid-Hormone Metabolism
Selenium has an established nutritional role in thyroid-hormone metabolism. This does not mean that the supplement corrects hypothyroidism or replaces thyroid medication.
  • Cellular Energy Support
CoQ10 is involved in mitochondrial energy production. Whether users notice a meaningful difference in day-to-day energy will depend on individual health and nutritional status.
  • Convenient Multi-Ingredient Formula
Conversol combines several herbs and nutrients that would otherwise need to be purchased separately. The two-capsule serving is also relatively straightforward.

Safety and Side Effects

Conversol is expected to be reasonably well-tolerated when used as directed by most healthy adults. Side effects can include nausea, bloating, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, headache, or an unusual taste or smell.

Milk thistle and dandelion are members of the Asteraceae plant family. Ragweed, daisy, chrysanthemum and related plants are allergenic and should be used with extra precautions by those who are sensitive to them.

Certain medicines may interact with CoQ10, and antioxidant and botanical components may alter the effects of some medicines. A doctor or pharmacist should review the entire list of ingredients for people taking thyroid drugs, diabetes drugs, blood thinners, or several prescription medications.

Miavola recommends a two-hour distance between Conversol and thyroid (thyroid preparations) medicine. The timing of use should be followed as directed by the user’s prescriber only and not adjusted by the user.

People who have been diagnosed with liver disease, bile-duct obstruction, gallbladder problems, hyperthyroidism, Graves’ disease, and other medical conditions should consult their doctor before using it.

What Customers Are Saying

Customer feedback is mixed, although many reviewers mention energy, sleep, digestion, or general well-being. These accounts reflect personal experiences and cannot confirm that the product caused the reported changes.

I used Conversol consistently for about a month, mainly because I was interested in the liver and thyroid support. The capsules were easy enough to take, and I didn’t experience any major problems, but I also didn’t notice a clear change in my energy or overall well-being. It may take longer for some people, but at this price, I was hoping for something more noticeable. — Melissa Grant

The ingredient list looked well thought out, so I was hopeful when I started taking Conversol. Unfortunately, I noticed mild bloating and stomach discomfort during the first couple of weeks. Taking it with a full meal helped a little, but the issue never completely went away. I stopped using it to see whether my digestion improved. The formula may suit others, but it wasn’t the right fit for me — Daniel Brooks

Conversol seems to use several recognised ingredients, and I liked that the label disclosed the exact amounts. My main concern was the cost. After finishing one bottle, I couldn’t say that I felt different enough to justify paying for it every month. I didn’t have a particularly bad experience, but I expected better value from a supplement in this price range. — Rachel Simmons

How to Use

Two capsules, one per day, after meals with a lot of water. According to Miavola, you can use the product at any time of day, but they also recommend that it’s best to take it after the second meal.

The brand suggests a minimum time of 2 hours between Conversol and thyroid drugs. Do not decrease or change the dosage of prescribed thyroid medication at the start of the supplement.

Keep the bottle tightly closed in a cool, dry and dark place and follow the recommended daily dose.

How Much Does Conversol Cost?

A 30-day supply costs $59.99 as a one-time purchase. The subscription option is advertised at $47.99, representing a 20% discount.

Miavola also offers 90-day and 150-day purchase options that reduce the advertised daily cost to approximately $1.72 and $1.60, respectively.

The subscription can reportedly be modified or cancelled, and purchases are covered by a 90-day money-back guarantee. Buyers should still review the latest subscription and refund terms before completing an order.

Is Conversol a Scam?

No, Conversol is a genuine supplement manufactured by a well-known wellness brand—its ingredients, usage directions, cost and return policy are all clearly made public.

The difference between “legitimate” and “clinically proven” is more significant. Conservol has not been studied as a complete product, and studies on its individual ingredients do not prove the product helps improve thyroid test results, treats liver disease, causes weight loss, or eliminates persistent fatigue.

While there are some logical aspects of the formula, many of the buys are simply the “convenience” of having multiple liver and antioxidant-support ingredients all in one.

Conclusion

Conversol is a transparent, reasonably well-structured supplement combining liver-support botanicals with choline, selenium, antioxidants, amino acids, and CoQ10.

Its strongest features are the standardised milk thistle, appropriate selenium amount, meaningful CoQ10 dose, vegan formulation, and fully disclosed label. The weaker points are its premium monthly cost, modest amounts of several supporting ingredients, limited public testing documentation, and the absence of clinical research on the complete formula.

The liver and thyroid are biologically connected, but that connection should not be stretched into a promise that Conversol will correct thyroid dysfunction or resolve unexplained symptoms. It is best viewed as a general nutritional support product whose results, if any, are likely to vary from person to person.

  1. Christopher Morgan

    I expected to notice more
I used Conversol for about 5 weeks because I was looking for some extra liver and everyday wellness support. Before starting, I mainly wanted better digestion and to feel less sluggish. Honestly, the before-and-after difference was pretty minor for me. The capsules were easy enough to take, but I didn’t feel the noticeable change I was hoping for, especially considering the price.
  2. Matthew Foster

Decent formula, but I didn’t feel much different
I took Conversol for about 5 weeks because I wanted general liver and wellness support after feeling sluggish and run-down. Before using it, I was hoping for better digestion, energy, and an overall healthier feeling. After more than a month, I honestly didn’t notice a big before-and-after difference. The capsules were easy enough to take, but I had some mild bloating early on. The formula looks good on paper, but the real-world results felt pretty modest.
