Overview

In the past couple of decades, scientists have discovered an irrefutable link between the gut and the immune system. Each day, we are learning more and more about how this link between two seemingly disparate parts of the body affects multiple aspects of human health.

So if you’ve been feeling constipated and sluggish lately, or if you get sick often, a digestive support supplement may actually do the trick. That’s why we will be covering Serene Herbs in today’s review. Serene Herbs is a supplement that features a fully herbal formula to help regulate gut function.

Improving gut function may also have positive effects on your immune system and, therefore, your longevity. But does Serene Herbs really work? If so, what can consumers expect from Serene Herbs? We answer these questions and many more in the following Serene Herbs review.

What are Serene Herbs?

Serene Herbs is a supplement that comes in liquid form. The makers of Serene Herbs say that there are only herbal extracts in the formula that have been included based on their ability to improve gut microbiota balance, enhance immune function, and detox the organs of the body.

There are 16 ounces of the liquid in each bottle of Serene Herbs which works out to about 16 servings per container. The manufacturers of Serene Herbs say that the supplement stands out among other detox products because of its multi-purpose function.

Serene Herbs has gained some popularity online from consumers who want the most bang for their buck – in other words, people looking for supplements that do more than one thing. For the most part, people take Serene Herbs to help reduce indigestion symptoms like bloating.

Who is the Manufacturer of Serene Herbs?

The company that makes Serene Herbs states that they focus on superfood ingredients in most of their products. They make a wide array of liquid supplements, including metabolic support products.

Serene Herbs was launched in 2022 and they say that since then, their mission has been to bring natural, holistic health solutions to their customers. They also claim that their products are made in the United States.

How Does Serene Herbs Work?

The main claims about how Serene Herbs is supposed to work have to do with digestive health, immune function, and detox functionality. While some of the herbs may be able to flush out toxins from your digestive system, it is unclear how Serene Herbs will detox the other organs of the user’s body.

Still, there are some elements of the Serene Herbs formula that seem to back up the other claims about how it works. For instance, Serene Herbs contains ginger root powder, which may help ease inflammation in the lining of the gut and moderate the effects of highly acidic foods.

Serene Herbs also contains turmeric, which is rich in anti-inflammatories and antioxidants. There have even been studies on turmeric that indicate that it can increase intestinal mucus levels. This effect would make Serene Herbs effective for smoothing out digestion and encouraging regular bowel movements.

Key Ingredients in Serene Herbs

Let’s take a look at what’s actually in the Serene Herbs formula:

Soursop Bitters

– Soursop bitters are a concentrated form of the extract of the graviola tree (bark, leaves, roots etc). Soursop bitters may increase salivation and therefore lubricate food as it moves through the digestive tract. It may also offer moderate protection for the digestive tract against ulcers.

Senna Leaf Extract

– Senna leaf is often used in holistic medicinal practices as a natural laxative. In modern studies, researchers have also found that senna leaf provides moderate antioxidant and anti-inflammatory protection. However, there is some concern of side effects:

“Conventional senna used as a laxative is quite safe, but these reports suggest that an overdose can cause acute hepatic failure.”

Lemon Fruit Extract

– Lemon fruit extract is a good source of antioxidants and it has also been observed to have anti-inflammatory effects. But it’s the high concentration of vitamin C that makes lemon fruit extract viable for boosting immune system function, as the St Vincent’s Medical Center staff puts it:

“Lemons and other foods high in vitamin C and other antioxidants, in fact, help boost your immune system.”

Ashwagandha Root Extract

– Ashwagandha is an herb that is traditionally associated with reduced stress levels. Some scientists posit that high stress can cause gastrointestinal issues. So it has been theorized that ashwagandha could improve digestion by reducing stress. This is just an indirect connection, though.

Turmeric

– Turmeric contains an active compound called curcumin, which is very high in antioxidants. In some clinical studies, it was found that turmeric could help relieve IBS symptoms like bloating. Some of these studies were low quality, though, and more research is needed.

How to Use Serene Herbs?

The makers of Serene Herbs suggest that you start with one tablespoon a day. Then, if you are comfortable with the effects, you can move up to 2 tablespoons daily. You should also ask your physician for dosage advice.

Benefits of Serene Herbs

Improved Digestion – Serene Herbs may help improve gastric function and promote regularity. The downside to this effect is that it may also cause very frequent bowel movements.

Better Immune Function – Some believe that the immune system is directly tied to the digestive system. So if Serene Herbs can improve digestion, there is a possibility that it will also enhance your immune function.

Longevity Support – While the makers of Serene Herbs claim that this supplement supports overall wellness and longevity, it’s a claim that can’t possibly be confirmed in any practical sense.

Side Effects of Serene Herbs

There have been some complaints of side effects from people who have taken Serene Herbs. First, there is the obvious chance that Serene Herbs will make you go to the bathroom with inconvenient frequency. But there have also been very specific reports from customers who say that Serene Herbs causes migraines and allergic reactions. These effects may not be typical, but should be considered all the same.

Safety

The makers of Serene Herbs point out that the product has been lab-tested for purity and potency. Serene Herbs has undergone screenings for bacteria like E. coli, Salmonella, and yeast mold. We are also told that Serene Herbs is manufactured in the United States under strict production guidelines. Still, you should speak with your physician before taking any digestive supplement.

How Much Does Serene Herbs Cost?

Two bottles of Serene Herbs Soursop Bitters cost $59, 4 bottles cost $89, and 6 bottles cost $109.99 on the official Serene Herbs website. However, on retail sites like Amazon, the same bottle only costs $37, so the prices can vary depending on where you look.

What Do the Serene Herbs Reviews Say?

Some say it relieves constipation while others say that it causes side effects:

My friend actually told me about it. She said that it actually gets rid of parasites so I bought it, tried it and she wasn’t lying. First time I tried it, I felt my stomach trying to clear out. It made a lot of noise but I knew it was working. It really hit me the second day where everything just flushed out. I feel lighter, full of energy, less bloated and less hungry. I take it around 6pm and wake up the next day having to use the bathroom, that’s usually what works best for me. The one thing is it tastes and smells absolutely disgusting!! – Alessandra

Great for detox & that’s it. Main benefits of this will include is horrible migraines . If you’re looking to end things early, keep taking this poison. This is poison, even when taken as prescribed. I’ve taken this only for 4 days & everyday I had a migraine. IF YOU SUFFER FROM MIGRAINES STAY AWAY!!!!! Not only will it induce a migraine, it will almost incapacitate you! -Dan

This did not agree with me. My stomach was extremely upset and vomiting maybe ingredient that didn’t work I threw this bottle out in trash.
I contacted company three times wanting to send back for refund they never responded back I realized after reading description they do not accept bottles back. Company finally responded back after three emails. They said to send order number and they would refund me. I did send it to them and it’s been 4 days and no refund or email.

Serene Herbs Review – Final Verdict

Serene Herbs is a supplement that may help you if you are struggling with constipation. It may also protect the lining of your gut from ulcers and provide good antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support.

On the other hand, this may not be a good supplement if you get migraines. Customers have also said that Serene Herbs has a disgusting taste.

Serene Herbs may be a good supplement if you aren’t susceptible to migraines and if laxatives haven’t worked for you. But if you need a gentler formula, there are other supplements to try.

    Mild effects, nothing impressive
Serene Herbs sounded promising for digestive support, but the results were underwhelming. I noticed only slight relief from bloating, and it didn’t make a significant difference overall. It’s gentle, but also not powerful enough to justify continued use in my routine.
