Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream Supplement Facts
Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream Supplement Facts

Colloidal Oatmeal 1%

Colloidal oatmeal [1] is a powder made from the hulls of oats, which helps to relieve itching and inflammation. It can be used on your face and body to help reduce irritation.

Colloidal oatmeal is usually used for eczema, psoriasis, and other conditions that cause skin inflammation or irritation. It can also be used to treat sunburns, diaper rash and other wounds.

Oat kernel oil

Oat kernel oil [2] is a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer that can be used on all skin types. It’s rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties that make it very effective for sensitive and irritated skin. Oat kernel oil is also high in fatty acids, which help hydrate and nourish the skin.

Oat kernel oil is an excellent base ingredient for facial serums and creams, as well as body lotions and balms. It helps other ingredients penetrate deeper into your skin, making them even more effective.

Glycerin [3] is a natural moisturizer that helps keep your skin soft and supple. It also helps to retain moisture, which can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Glycerin is a humectant, which means it draws moisture from the air into your skin. The more moisture your skin has, the more elasticity and firmness it will have.

Ceramide NP (fats)

Ceramide NP [4] is a non-stabilized, non-peptide, non-polysaccharide lipid molecule that has been shown to be effective in treating a variety of skin conditions. In particular, it has been shown to significantly improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles when used on the face.

Panthenol (a B5 pro-vitamin)

Panthenol [5] (a B5 pro-vitamin) is a water-soluble compound that is found in many plants and animals. It has been shown to have many beneficial effects on the skin, including acting as an anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant.

Petrolatum (a Vaseline-like substance)

Petrolatum [6] is a substance that’s found in Vaseline and many other skin care products. It’s used for its ability to soothe and protect the skin, which makes it perfect for anyone who has dryness or irritation.

Petrolatum is an occlusive moisturizer, meaning that it forms a layer over your skin that prevents water from escaping. This helps your skin retain moisture and makes it less likely to get dry. At the same time, your skin can breathe through this layer, so petrolatum doesn’t clog pores or cause acne breakouts.

Petrolatum also contains antioxidants, which help protect your skin from free radicals by neutralizing them before they can cause damage.

Distearyldimonium chloride (which promotes smoother skin)

Distearyldimonium chloride [7] is a skin-conditioning agent that helps promote smoother skin. It works by softening the outer layer of your skin, which makes it feel smoother and more supple.

It’s also great for hair because it helps create an invisible layer on your strands to protect them from environmental damage.

Steareth-20 (an emulsifier and thickening agent)

Steareth-20 is an emulsifier and thickening agent. It’s made from fatty alcohols and ethylene oxide, and it’s used to thicken and stabilize a variety of products, including shampoos, conditioners, lotions, creams, and body washes.

  1. Sarah L.

Aveeno Eczema Therapy Daily Moisturizing Cream partially effective
The flaky, dry, itchy skin on my breasts responded incredibly well to this lotion, which feels more like a cream-like ointment. I’m overjoyed. On my face, I also have eczema patches. I advise against applying this to your face. I developed acne like an adolescent boy. However, it did get rid of the incredibly dry, flaky, red, irritated, and itchy patches. But I don’t want icky pimples and whiteheads.
