What Is Golo Release?

Golo Release is a dietary supplement that comes in vegetarian capsule form. They accompany the Golo for Life meal plan developed to specifically manage insulin levels in the user to possibly promote weight loss.

Medical News Today describes insulin as a hormone that allows glucose in the blood to enter cells, providing them with the energy needed to function [1]. Insulin directly affects metabolism and weight gain, and its performance may be affected by unbalanced diets that increase glucose levels which, in turn, spike insulin levels and cause glucose to be stored as fat.

According to the manufacturer, the Golo Release supplements were developed by a team of doctors, nutritionists, and pharmacists who focus on the problems with weight gain due to what is known as “Insulin Resistance.” Insulin resistance can lead to weight gain or, more dangerously, prediabetes if the blood glucose levels are higher than usual but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes.

The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases, which is under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, explains insulin resistance as happening when cells in the muscles, fat, and liver do not respond well to insulin and cannot take up glucose from the blood as quickly as it should. This issue results in the pancreas making more insulin to help glucose enter the cells [2].

Golo Release Supplement Facts

Golo Release Supplement Facts

Rhodiola root extract

– Rhodiola is a medicinal herb that has been studied for its potential benefits in weight management and overall well-being. As explored in our comprehensive Viva Slim Review, Rhodiola is renowned for its adaptogenic properties, which help the body adapt to stress and promote balance.

One proposed mechanism by which Rhodiola may support weight loss is its ability to modulate stress hormone levels, such as cortisol. Elevated cortisol levels have been associated with increased abdominal fat deposition and weight gain. By helping to regulate cortisol levels, Rhodiola may mitigate the negative effects of stress on metabolism and promote a healthier body composition.

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, has stated that Rhodiola root extract has been found to enhance physical performance and ease mental fatigue [3].

Inositol

Research has found that using Inositol can help treat depression. This vitamin-like substance found in many plants and animals has also been used to improve insulin resistance, cholesterol, and triglyceride levels [4].

Berberine HCl

– According to research found in the U.S. National Library of Medicine National Institutes of Health, Berberine HCl has been found to regulate glucose and lipid metabolism [5].

Berberine HCl’s ability to influence gut microbiota also contributes to its effectiveness in weight management. By fostering a balanced gut environment, it aids in digestion and nutrient absorption. We have also discussed this ingredient in our review of FitSpresso.

Gardenia fruit extract

– A study in Science News found that Gardenia fruit extract contains a chemical that reverses some of the pancreatic dysfunctions and the underlying causes of diabetes in insulin-producing pancreatic beta cells [6].

Banaba leaf extract

– Banaba has been found to lower blood glucose in people with type 2 diabetes. According to research, the plant has insulin-like activity and has been found to treat diabetes [7]. We have also covered benefits of this ingredient for weight loss in our LeanBliss Review.

Salacia bark extract

– As per the article published by the Journal of Diabetes Research, salvia bark extracts significantly lowered AUC insulin after ingestion [8].

Apple fruit extract

– Apple fruit extract has been found to contribute to weight loss, and studies suggest linking apple polyphenol extract to reducing cholesterol levels [9].

What Do the Golo Release Reviews Say?

Reading the consumer reviews before sitting at a particular product is essential. Hence here we share some Golo Release Reviews to get a better idea of what customers think about this weight loss supplement.

My desires and appetite have remained unchanged. This isn’t a miraculous pill; I’ve lost and gained weight my whole life. I discovered that working hard, cutting out foods like bread and spaghetti, eating smaller meal sizes, and eating something four to five times a day helped me. I was searching for something to take the edge off, which didn’t do the trick. It may work for you, but it did not work for me; good luck. ~ Review by Michael Dunlop Sr.

It truly worked the first month I took it. I dropped 10 pounds in the first 30 days. Then I went out and bought another bottle. I stopped losing weight and was bouncing about a pound or two. Based on the results from last month, I’m not sure I’ll go for round three. It’s not inexpensive to gamble on the third bottle of this stuff. ~ Review by Christopher

Indeed, sounds too good to be true.
Caution. Pay attention to Golo’s statements which say ‘may’ help with such and such. Not that it ‘will’. So do not be surprised when it does not help. Also, my experience was that it significantly raised my blood pressure. And I lost no weight. Personally, I’m very tired of being gaslighted, deceived. This Golo Release is in the same category as the ‘full body deodorant, Lume’ whose creators say we all smell badly but don’t know it until we use their product. Duh!!! So use caution. If it sounds too good to be true, it most likely is.
  2. Denise Cooke

I want to tell the world about this amazing product!!!
I started using this amazing product back in August of 2023. At first, I didn’t see any change at all, but in the back of my mind, I told myself to give the product a chance. I had tried everything—Jenny Craig, Hydroxycut—but nothing worked for me. However, I stuck with the product, and when it reached January 2024, I had gone from 247 pounds to 170 pounds. I am so proud of myself. I stopped taking GOLO in December, and guess what? The weight hasn’t come back. I am immensely thankful to GOLO. I love myself today more than ever.
  3. Larry J Niacaris

HELPS A LITTLE But claims don't live up to to the ads
I have been using it for almost a year, yet I’ve experienced very little weight loss or improvement in my diabetes symptoms. The extensive hype seems unfounded and it feels like a waste of money. Despite giving it ample time, I observed no significant effect or change. Consequently, I no longer have confidence in this product.
  4. Christi Winland

Look Forward to See More Results
I’ve been on these pills for 3 weeks, and they’ve helped somewhat. I’ve noticed a big change in my appetite. I’m eating way less than before. I feel a bit more energized, but my weight hasn’t changed much. Hoping for more noticeable results soon!
  5. Carmen Bird

    Save your money!
I decided to go ahead and write a review because I think it’s so sad that this product is so expensive and it does not work at all. When I purchase the product years ago, I purchased enough for both my husband and I. It was a pretty penny and it did not even work, I think it’s sad that they continue to push this product and steal money from people. Please save your money!
