As with all Solvaderm treatments, ACE-Ferulic is a maximum strength formula that uses pharmaceutical-grade ingredients. It was developed by the Solvaderm team of scientists and dermatologists and designed to be suitable for all skin types[1].

What are the Active Ingredients in Solvaderm’s ACE-Ferulic?

The ACE-Ferulic formula is a blend of high-grade vitamins, antioxidants and hydrating substances which support several signs of aging in the skin when used on a regular basis. Some of the key active ingredients include:

  • Ascorbic Acid – Otherwise known as Vitamin C, this is commonly used for its potent antioxidant effects but also has the potential to reduce the severity of hyperpigmentation in the skin[2].
  • Ferulic Acid – A plant-based organic antioxidant that is said to work deep below the skin, reducing the damaging effects of free radicals and oxidative stress[3].
  • Hyaluronic Acid – This substance has major benefits for dehydrated skin, helping to attract and lock in moisture for softer, more supple skin[4].
  • Panthenol – Sometimes labeled as Vitamin B5, Panthenol enhances the effects of Vitamin C, encourages the healing process and deeply conditions the skin[5].
  • Alpha Tocopherol – This ingredient, Vitamin E, also works with the other vitamins in the formula, including Vitamin B3, to promote healing and reduce the appearance of scars and blemishes on the skin surface[6].

  1. Works for skin tone
The blotchiness of my skin was really starting to worry me before I tried Ace Ferulic. It was getting really noticeable and my skin tone was becoming very uneven. I don’t have the luxury of seeing a dermatologist as often as I would like so I knew I’d have to figure out a way to treat it myself.

At first I thought it was because my face was just dry. I used a plethora of moisturizers but nothing worked to solve this problem. Then I thought my skin was being irritated with the products I was using such as my favorite facial scrub, but even when I gave that up, the problems persisted. So I started reading up on conditions like hyperpigmentation. All the symptoms aligned with what I was experiencing so I decided to tackle my problem from that angle.

The goal was to tone my skin and prevent and reverse the damage of hyperpigmentation. So I hit the market for creams and serums that claimed to do that. Luckily I came across Ace Ferulic pretty quickly and didn’t have to buy a bunch of other serums .

The best part for me was that it came with a 60-day money back guarantee. I knew these problems didn’t get solved overnight but I still wanted to hedge my bets. I would say I started noticing that my skin tone was evening out after one month. I use it every day now and my skin tone is even with no signs of hyperpigmentation!
