    I love mine so far
I have recently had this done. And I have horrible sleep apnea, and my snoring is horrible. I had it turned on last week, and I am sleeping thru the night had one night where I snored a little bit, but nothing like I used to. I am hoping it gets better and better. My Dr. told me it takes a little bit for it to really be working right since you have to slowly adjust. Fingers crossed…

    This product is Horrible
The device literally shocks the back of the tongue just as you fall asleep. This pushes the tongue out of your mouth past the lip and teeth. This wakes you up every time you ‘fall asleep’. The handheld device you see in those pictures has set from 1 thru nine. I never could sleep with it on just 1. I met with an Inspire Rep in Kansas City who met me to ‘readjust’ the device. Same results. Shocked my mouth open. Horrible feeling and it wakes you up!!!! I tried it for a week and lost more sleep than I have ever had since using a C-pap for the last 7 years. The actual installation of the device into my chest was extremely painful as well. This is not as simple as they let on.

I had an operation on my throat which opened d the airways about 75% and I have gone back to using an I Pap instead of the constant blowing of a C-P. The I pap breathes in and out with you. I use an f-20 face mask. I tape my lips closed to keep my mouth from opening up and drying out my throat. I breathe thru my nose and get great sleep. The Inspire website had about 20 videotaped interviews that you could call who vouched for this torture machine I spoke to a man 69 years old who promised there was no shock to the treatment. WRONG. I checked a few months ago and they had about six Video interviews on the site. Obviously, people backed out of the endorsements.

I would suggest you get your throat Scoped under anesthesia (Out Patient) to determine the real cause of your obstruction problem. and go from there.
KU in Kansas has an excellent Sleep Apnea program. Feel free to email me as well.

    Saved by the yell!
~4years ago my ENT began to get me ready for the procedure but the day it was scheduled he became ill. Before we could reschedule he decided to quit doing the procedure since the success rate of the surgery was too low and had not improved after the test phase. I trusted him and decided not to pursue the folly. After reading these remarks, I know that I truly make the best decision. Thank you, folks, for sharing.

This device is a huge scam
I had this device implanted in me back in February 2021, ever since then its been nothing but a nightmare, adjust this setting adjust that setting, another sleep study test, another specialist, this device is a piece of garbage, and I’m very sorry that I had it installed. Sleep apnea is worse than it’s ever been, no support from the manufacturer, they claim well some people work on it and some it doesn’t, if that’s the case then why do they put you through a test to see if you qualify.
