What is the name of the company that makes this device?

Inspire Medical Systems, Inc., based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was created to be the world’s leading provider of innovation and cost-effective implantable therapeutic devices for the treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea.

Inspire Sleep Apnea Therapy stimulates the hypoglossal nerve[2] that causes the throat and other muscles to open up the airway hence allowing the user to breathe and sleep better.

Just A Terrible Experience 0 stars (if I could)
A horrible experience. First of all the battery is not small, it’s pretty large and can be seen through the skin. I’ve been asked about it numerous times on the beach. I was told it would be a small incision and a very small device (battery). Secondly the swelling on my throat was the size of a softball and bled pretty badly for over a month. The stitches looked horrible, like the Frankenstein monster. This was a year and a half ago and I still have a pretty nasty scar on my throat. It will never go away at this point. It’s even hard to shave w/o bleeding again. I couldn’t work or even go out in public looking like that! It was extremely painful as well. Lost my job. Thirdly is barely works at all. I still wake up numerous times in the night gasping for breath. The $27 mouth guard I bought at Walmart works better, and there’s no pain and brutal suffering. Run away! Don’t get it.
