How Does Derma Mask Work?

Derma mask has 7 color treatments and each is designed to perform a different purpose. Choose the light therapy wished-for for your desired result and enjoy the session for 10 minutes.

Red light is an anti-aging therapy with a wavelength of 625-740nm. It promotes the growth of collagen which helps repair damaged and old skin tissues. Red light also heals wrinkles, tightens pores, dispels crinkles, and lightens dark spots. As we have also documented in our article of Nushape Lipo Wrap Reviews.

The yellow or amber LED light improves wrinkles and skin texture, replenishes cell energy, and promotes lymphatic drainage. It also treats sunburns, rosacea, and skin redness.

Blue light helps reduce inflammation and get rid of acne by killing acne-causing bacteria. Green LED light moderates oil production, treats sebaceous cysts, fades hyperpigmentation, heals sores, and reduces the formation of blackheads.

Cyan light treatment helps enhance cellular energy, relieve stress, calm inflammation, and reduces swollen capillaries. White LED light therapy enhances wound healing and improves the appearance of wrinkles, while purple light promotes cell renewal and regeneration.

Derma Mask Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

Red Light Therapy

Red light therapy works through the mitochondria in the body to boost energy levels. Increased cellular energy allows cells to function effectively.

Red light repairs damaged skin cells, boosts the growth of new skin cells, enhances skin rejuvenation, stimulates collagen production, reduces wrinkles, and calms inflammation.

According to the Photomedicine and Laser Surgery journal, red light therapy helps improve skin complexion, reduce skin roughness, and boost collagen production in the skin[1].

Yellow Light Therapy

Yellow light has a shallow penetration and is good for skin conditions such as skin redness, rosacea, and sunburns.

Yellow light also reduces the appearance of wrinkles, promotes skin cell rejuvenation, soothes inflammation, improves lymphatic flow, improves skin appearance, and detoxifies the skin.

According to the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology, patients who have used yellow LED light therapy reported reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, softening of the skin, reduction in photo-aging, and improved skin texture[2].

Blue Light Therapy

Blue LED light has a wavelength of 445-520nm and it is an anti-acne treatment. Blue light eliminates and diminishes acne-causing bacteria. Blue light also reduces the size of oil glands in the skin.

People who have gone through blue light therapy have reported reduced appearance of sun spots, brightened skin, reduced skin redness, and improved skin texture.

In-vitro studies in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology have reported that blue light therapy is effective in the treatment of mild to moderate acne vulgaris[3].

Green Light Therapy

Green light therapy heals sores, firms the skin, restores balance in the sebaceous glands, regulates oil production, and reduces the formation of blackheads on the skin, and improves moisture production.

Green light also calms inflammation, prevents photo damage, and fades dark spots, hyperpigmentation, and skin discoloration.

According to the National Library of Medicine, green light emitting diodes increases the production of fibroblasts which help promote wound healing on the skin[4].

I would not buy anything from Dermay ever again
First of all, the product is very uncomfortable around the eyes and leaves marks. Second, I tried to send the mask back for a refund, that was in March 2023, after having to jump through hoops with customer online service, to get the address and a code to send the mask back to. I finally got the address, sent the mask back (March) and until now have not seen a refund, we have now June 21, 2023. Bad Product and even worse customer service!

    Derma Mask is Worth It!
Was feeling a little low about my skin after turning 50, as I had wrinkles and fine lines as well as dryness in areas. Started using this device regularly, and it has completely transformed my complexion. It’s easy to use, and it is making me look young and radiant!
