How Does Konscious Emma Work?

The Emma Relief digestive health aid works by combining potent extracts. All the extracts are proven to be effective. In addition, the supplement targets the root cause of the issue, unlike other products that use laxatives, probiotics, and fiber.

Unlike other gut health products, Emma Gut Relief supplements do not use any fiber, laxatives, or probiotics since overuse might cause the colon to expand, getting rid of its natural folds. The powerhouse ingredients used in this supplement help maintain the equilibrium of gut flora and create an environment in the gut for effective digestion.

The potent extracts in Emma target the root cause of the issue rather than other gut-relieving products. Laxatives can be used as a temporary aid as they force the contents out of the colon. Using it for long periods of time might cause the colon to expand.

Emma uses its ingredients to maintain the equilibrium of gut flora and create an optimal environment in the gut for effortless and effective digestion. Cleaning up your microbiome and digestive enzymes will help with repairing the leaky gut and providing relief from symptoms of IBS.

Emma Ingredients – Are They Safe & Effective?

Berberine:

Berberine, present in plants like barberry, goldenseal, and Oregon grape, holds a rich history in traditional Chinese medicine. Research indicates its potential benefits for diarrhea-predominant IBS (IBS-D). In a study involving 131 participants taking 500 mg of berberine 2-3 times per day, significant improvements in diarrhea frequency and urgency were observed after 8 weeks compared to a placebo[1].

Additional studies suggest its effectiveness in treating SIBO, comparable to the antibiotic rifampicin. While Emma Relief contains 50 mg of berberine per serving, lower than the study dosage, it may still contribute to gut health[2].

Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice (DGL):

DGL, a form of licorice with glycyrrhizin removed to mitigate potential side effects, has been traditionally used for stomach ulcers. Research indicates DGL supplements may alleviate dyspepsia symptoms like abdominal pain. However, the suggested study dosage ranges from 380 mg to 1g per day, while Emma Relief contains 22 mg of DGL. The formula’s DGL amount may be insufficient for a significant therapeutic impact[3].

Star Anise:

Commonly used in cooking, star anise provides antioxidants and potentially antibacterial properties. Limited evidence suggests its digestive benefits in supplement form, with a rat study indicating improved lipid digestion. Emma Relief contains 75 mg per serving, but the impact of this amount on digestion remains uncertain due to the scarcity of human studies[4].

Quercetin:

Found in onions, apples, and berries, quercetin is an antioxidant known for maintaining intestinal barrier integrity. Studies[5]
recommend dosages of at least 500 mg per day, while Emma Relief includes 25 mg, potentially insufficient for significant benefits.

Resveratrol:

Present in foods like grapes, peanuts, and red wine, resveratrol exhibits limited evidence of anti-inflammatory effects in the GI tract. Emma Relief contains 20 mg per serving, and while research is scarce, it may contribute to gut health.

Other Ingredients:

Emma Relief incorporates B vitamins, vitamin D, minerals (magnesium and zinc), and prebiotics/probiotics, offering general health benefits. However, their amounts in the formula may not directly address gut function or digestive issues.

What Do The Emma Relief Reviews Say?

This works but have to take in moderation

This stuff just works, but I can’t take it daily like it recommends because it causes me to go #2 way too often. I took it to make it easier and it does, but if taken too much it becomes a little too easy. I still use it to this day when I feel backed up or extremely bloated. It helps the bloating almost overnight. I had to give it 4 stars for the value for the money because I just think it is way to expensive. This makes it harder for everyday people to be able use its’ benefits on a monthly basis. –Rbarber

It takes time

It wasnt until the second bottle that I saw results. Started pooping daily and massively. Started to lose weight, I started at 205 lbs and am now 198 and about to start bottle 3.

My skin has started to clear up. I have not had bloating or cramps but I hear my stomach gurgling sometimes.
I cant tell a taste so I am good with taking them.

As I said, I am going into month 3 and will continue until I dont see results.

UPDATE

Finishing my 4th bottle. Weighing in at 196. Pooping every other day but poop is massive. I try to drink a lot of water and a warm drink, seems to help things move. Continuing on with it.

On my 6th bottle. I am pooping every other day or so but poop is massive, almost scary. I am ok with that as I want it all out of me. I still have gas, though. It works for me. –Sara Gwathmey

Didn’t work for me

Have been using Metamucil for years and wanted to try something that would be as good or if not better, and the long advertisement that I watched seemed like just what I needed, and has many more health benefits, but doesn’t work nearly as well as the Metamucil. Don’t waste your time and money. –Debbie Hutton

    Questions about Emma
I have a concern. I have been taking Emma for almost 2 weeks now and I am so bloated and constipated. I haven’t been able to have a bowel movement in over a week. I feel like l have to go so bad. But l can’t seem to be able to make it happen. I am drinking water, l eat plenty of fruits and veggies. I am not eating junk foods or meats because l have a fatty liver disease. I have a dietitian and she put me on the Mediterranean diet. I should be best friends with the toilet. But not happening.

Do you have any advice that you could give me please?

    Thanks so much
    Nicole

This product did not help me nor my daughter at all.
I ordered 9 bottles and shared some with my daughter. We each took it for over a month and not only did it not help, but we both felt worse! The return procedure was very inconvenient. I did not realize that there was a 10% restocking fee.

The foreign agent did not tell me that I had to provide the packaging for the returned product. He sent me a return address label which I couldn’t print since I don’t have a copy machine. He said it was no problem and to take the product to UPS and they’d take care of me.

I did so and after waiting in the long line the girl said they had to be packaged. I went to Walmart to buy a big mailable envelope, returned to UPS only to be told that I had to pay $2.99 to print the return address sticker! So not only did this product NOT help us, I had to make two trips to UPS, spend $2.00 on the mailer and another $2.99 on the label.

I would highly recommend NOT buying this product!! Customer service is awful.

    EMMA Relief product
this product is a joke been taking for almost a month and had to take laxatives to go to the bathroom and it has increased my appetite so none of this works to help it defeated all my needs and goals sending back for refund and would not recommend

    EMMA for me is working
I ordered 3 jars but then developed MDS before I could use any, although I had opened 1 jar. I called EMMA, and they allowed me to return the 2 unopened jars but refunded me for all 3! I am still undergoing therapy for MDS, and now that it is a part of my life, I started taking 1 EMMA daily. I have been very satisfied with my regularity; it’s the best it’s been in years! I can go out without worrying about finding a toilet (like now). I just ordered 6 jars. I don’t usually rate things, but this works for me.
