Also, ensures your baby’s health by taking the prescribed prenatal supplements particularly iron and folic acid.
- Dealing with Stretch Marks: Nearly 90% of pregnant mothers experience stretch marks. These are pinkish streaks found on the abdomen as a result of gaining weight. They are hard to clear up, but there are ways to reduce their appearance.

In addition to that, the opening of the uterus is protected with a mucus plug. To correct the fallacy, orgasm won’t trigger labor. Although some might experience uterine tightening when reaching the climax — yet, this is still normal.
Nevertheless, doctors advise avoiding lying flat on your back during sex so as not to compress the vena cava. Compression of this part can make you light-headed and decreased the oxygen supply to the baby.
Nevertheless, pregnant mothers who have placenta previa, cervical incompetence and those who are experiencing preterm labor and vaginal bleeding are advised to abstain from sex during this time. Ruptured membranes or when the water is broken is also a contraindication to have sex during pregnancy.
