Carin Astrup grew up in Sweden then eventually settled down in Oslo, Norway after years of traveling all over the world and living in several countries. She lived in Germany, England and in the United States. Astrup became a certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in 2001. She is also a certified nutrition advisor and has studied at the prestigious Norwegian School of Sports and Science (NSSS). She currently operates a personal training business in Oslo and Virtual Home Training to help people get in shape, feel better and incorporate exercise as an important part of their lives.
Carin Astrup is an advocate of health and fitness. She has been active most of her life and has prioritized her health by exercising regularly and eating right all of her life. She is the epitome of health serving as an inspiration to others including her thousands of clients both online and in Oslo. She doesn’t smoke or use recreational drugs and has no criminal record.
Carin Astrup has been a certified Personal Trainer at the American Council on Exercise (ACE) since the year 2001. Before I heard of Carin’s services I had been a support member at several different gyms and recreational centers. I tried different PTs and different methods of training. I never seemed to be motivated by the PTs I had and it was a struggle for me to get to the gym. Thinking about exercise made me feel sick and almost always after training i got the migraine. I hated exercise and I hated that I was stuck in my unhealthy body and chaotic life. When I first started with Carin Astrup in January I was 8-10kg overweight. I was sad, tired and had little energy. I decided to exercise her stuff 3 times a week. My life changed with Carin. My goal was to lose 5-6 KG till Easter and the pounds came off. Here I have a easy to follow exercise and a food plan. By summer I had lost the 8kg that were my goal and it wasn’t painful. At least i don’t remember it as painful… For the first time I felt uplifted and happy after exercising and kept the kg off!
