How Does Vital Protein work?

Vital Proteins collagen peptides operate as messengers in cells, triggering the creation and rearrangement of new collagen fibers to sustain skin, bone, and joint tissue structures.

Vital protein collagen peptides have bioactive properties and supply the body with the exact amino acids it needs to do so. Collagen peptides aid in providing the body with amino acids, which are required as building blocks in the renewal of tissues such as skin, bones, and joints.

Vital Proteins Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

These are some of Vital Proteins’ main active components.

Collagen

Collagen is the most prevalent protein in the body, and it helps our skin, hair, ligaments, nails, tendons, and bones maintain their structure. Collagen allows us to move, bend, and stretch more easily. Collagen is also responsible for hair gloss, skin radiance, and strong nails.

Research in Nutrients revealed that collagen is on the front lines of skin improvements, and it can reduce wrinkles and stretch marks [1].

Matcha

Due to its naturally occurring levels of L-theanine, an amino acid that may keep you alert and relaxed, matcha is one of the most popular skin care ingredients. Green tea and matcha are both made from the same tea leaves, but matcha is finely processed into powder.

A study in Nutrients found out that Matcha Green Tea Powder has protective effects against cognitive decline in community-dwelling elderly women [2].

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is an adaptogen plant that maintains normal mental clarity and promotes a balanced reaction to stress. It can also increase stamina.

An article in Cureus discovered that Ashwagandha root extract was efficient at improving sleep quality and mental alertness in the elderly [3].

Biotin

Biotin is a vitamin that belongs to the vitamin B complex. It aids in the conversion of macronutrients into energy and promotes normal metabolic, digestive, and cardiovascular functioning. Biotin supplementation can lead to better hair, skin, and nails.

A study in J Clin Exp Dermatol Res found that consuming a high dose of Biotin resulted in thicker hair and less wrinkles on the face [4].

Bone Broth

Bone broth is a nutrient-dense beverage that has grown in popularity among individuals looking for a range of health advantages. This product is prepared by boiling a mixture of animal bones, water, vinegar, and aromatics for at least 24 hours.

A study in the Journal of Undergraduate Chemistry Research concluded that Bone BROTH contributes vital amino acids on a daily basis [5].

GABA

When we’re in demanding settings, GABA is a vital neurotransmitter that puts the brakes on our nerve impulses. GABA activity at a high level can decrease overstimulation and produce a sense of calm under strain.

Research in Frontiers in neuroscience established that GABA reduces stress and enhances sleep [6].

How to Use Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides

The quantity of collagen you should take each day depends on the sort of collagen supplement you’re using and why you’re using it.

You can take collagen peptides orally, ranging from 2.5 to 10 grams per day, for 8 to 12 weeks to enhance skin and hair health. 10 grams of collagen peptides daily in 1-2 split dosages for roughly five months to treat arthritis.

  1. Jane

This product does not work for me.
It gives me chest pain as well as stomach pain and bloating for several days. I bought this product at Costco and used it with my coffee. At first, I followed the recommended portion, which is ‘two scoops,’ and thought maybe that was too excessive. I then reduced it to 1/4 teaspoon, but the pain level is the same.

    Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
I started to lose my hair during the pandemic due to stress. I’ve always had thick, long hair and I was getting a bald spot on the back of my head. I researched online & bought Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. I started to put 2 scoops in my morning coffee. It works! My hair is now full again – NO balding spot. I am a true believer in this product. I am still using Vital Proteins and am recommending it to all my friends.
