Tingling Lips: Symptoms, Causes and Treatments

Tingling lips is often experienced and is a problem when we feel as if pins and needles are being pricked on our lips. In medical terms, this is referred as lip paresthesia. The causes are definitely diverse but the effects are extremely irritable and serious if not taken care of. Tingling lips may also be symptoms of various other health issues or problems. Consequently, prickling, tingling, twitching, spasms and pain are felt in the affected area. Also, the skin becomes pale white or blue in colour. It mostly influences the lips, feet, hands, face and ears. Raynaud’s syndrome may also be a symptom of lupus and other similar disorders.
