How Does NoonBrew Work?

NoonBrew works by using different ingredients to energize and calm to the body at the same time.

One serving size of NoonBrew is equal to one teaspoon, and they offer 30-serving or 90-serving bags on their website. NoonBrew comes in a powder form and can be mixed in cold water, hot water, or other beverages. The packaging does not have a recommended daily amount, so presumably one can drink as much NoonBrew as desired.

How Will NoonBrew Help You?

According to their website, NoonBrew was designed for people who are suffering from low energy levels during the day and those who may be sensitive to coffee. Their targeted audience is people who want to feel ‘more focused and positive’ but who don’t want to drink coffee in the afternoon.

NoonBrew also claims that its iced tea helps increase immune function.

NoonBrew Supplement Facts
NoonBrew Supplement Facts

Adaptogen Proprietary Blend:

Astragalus

– A common herb used in traditional Oriental medicine, Astragalus has a reputation for helping decrease infections. A 2013 study was done on Astragalus, with results indefinite and low quality according to the study review (U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, 2020)[1].

Ashwaganda

– while this herb is commonly referred to as an adaptogen, there is no hard evidence this is the case. Nevertheless, Ashwaganda is commonly used for its stress-reducing and anxiolytic effects (U.S. National Library of Medicine)[2].

A thorough review of Roundhouse Morning Kick has revealed that ashwagandha has the potential to positively impact stress management. The ability of ashwagandha to lower cortisol levels, the body’s stress hormone, is one of its special qualities. Ashwagandha may aid in lowering stress and promoting health by maintaining a sense of equilibrium and relaxation.

Chaga

– Chaga, a traditional medicine in many European and Asian cultures, is rich in antioxidants and nutrients. Believed to support immune function, promote healthy digestion, and possess anti-inflammatory properties, Chaga has been studied for its efficacy as an antioxidant, antitumor, and immune-activating agent in various research studies and reviews, including Pineal XT Review.

Research suggests that Chaga may also help regulate blood sugar levels, improve skin health, and enhance overall well-being. However, the varying potency and growing methods of Chaga mushrooms may pose challenges in replicating study results[3].

Cordyceps

– A meta-analysis completed in 2011 shows that this famous fungus used in Traditional Oriental Medicine has similar properties to Chaga such as antitumor and immunomodulating effects (Lin & Li, 2011). Some studies have also highlighted its beneficial use on hyperglycemia and gut immune system as well.

Lion’s Mane

– A 2018 meta-analysis of Lion’s Mane mushroom, which is used as a culinary and medicinal plant, demonstrated that this mushroom is not only safe to ingest but also may have some interesting neuro-protective effects. Further study is needed, though, to know the full potential of using Lion’s Mane in alternative medicine (Li et al., 2018).

Reishi

– Long used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, reishi mushrooms have been thought to help with immune function. A 2003 study used reishi in conjunction with other cancer treatments in a group of prostate cancer patients. While the study showed some immune function improvement, it’s not clear whether the reishi or the other cancer therapies contributed to this outcome (Wachtel-Galor, Yuen, & Buswell et al., 2011).

Lemon Balm

– Lemon balm, also known as Melissa officinalis, is a herbaceous plant from the mint family that has been used for centuries for its potential health benefits. In traditional medicine, lemon balm is prized for its calming and soothing properties, making it a popular choice for promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and improving sleep quality.

As highlighted in our U Relax Review, lemon balm contains various bioactive compounds, including rosmarinic acid, flavonoids, and polyphenols, which contribute to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and mild sedative effects. These compounds help to reduce inflammation, combat oxidative stress, and promote a sense of calm and relaxation, making lemon balm a valuable natural remedy for managing stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.

Superfood Proprietary Blend:

Chlorella

– Chlorella is an algae with a slew of amino acids and vitamin content. Vitamins found in chlorella include many B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, and minerals like potassium, magnesium, and phosphorus (Bito T, Okumura E, Fujishima M, Watanabe F, 2020).

Ginseng

– Minimal research has been conducted on ginseng for health, and the studies that have been done on ginseng as a stress reliever are low quality. Despite these facts, ginseng remains a popular plant in alternative medicine. (US Dept of Health, 2020).

Maca

– Maca is a popular supplement used for hormonal imbalances in men and women, but no research backs these claims yet.

Dendrobium

– A flower and part of the orchid genus. Dendrobium has some interesting properties that may have neuroprotective effects in humans, but no large body of evidence exists to support these claims (Cakova V, Bonte F, & Lobstein A, 2017).

Schisandra

– This plant is popular in Traditional Chinese Medicine, and on a cellular level, has fantastic anticancer and antimicrobial potential. However, no large studies performed on humans have been done (Nowak, 2019).

Osmanthus

– A plant popularly used in Traditional Chinese Medicine, osmanthus has some convincing evidence for treating allergic airway inflammation in animals (Hung, 2013). This plant is also full of flavonoids, which have antioxidant properties and are found in many fruits and vegetables.

L-Theanine

– A study completed in 2019 showed that L-theanine may have stress-relieving and antidepressant properties. One flaw in the study may be the Hawthorne Effect, which occurs when study participants subconsciously change their behavior and/or self-scoring simply because they are being observed in a study (Hidese, 2019).

A user on September 30, 2022 gave NoonBrew a 5-star review:

Big iced tea drinker here, but todays powders are so bad for you! I was really hoping I liked this product and I do the flavor is great, it blends so nicely in cold water, and it’s good for your health! Win win. It is pricey but if you think about it, if I were to buy bottles of iced tea at the store it would cost me the same or more! Great addition to my household will def order again. I like it as is with a squeeze of lemon but my 6 yo I put a little squirt of agave

A user on August 17, 2022 posted this 1-star review on Amazon:

NoonBrew Review – Conclusion

Overall, we give NoonBrew a 4.0/5 stars. If you are an iced tea drinker and love the way iced tea tastes, we think you may enjoy this tea. However, it is pricey, coming in at fifty dollars for a 30-day supply.

However, if you swap this out for your morning coffee run, you may be saving money. NoonBrew uses many ingredients listed as superfoods, which is more of a marketing tactic than a phrase based in modern science.

However, some of NoonBrew’s ingredients such as lemon balm and osmanthus have shown to help decrease stomach upset and airway inflammation.

  1. Maria

I look forward to buying this product again
I drink the tea around 2 pm and find that it helps me get through the afternoon without feeling tired or sleepy. I’ve been drinking the Noonbrew for one week. Since I drink unsweetened tea, I thought the flavor was pretty good. It is suggested to add lemon or honey if needed. The price of the tea is less expensive than buying a single soft drink, tea or coffee. I appreciate the ingredients and hope it helps me stay awake and grounded.
  2. Pam

    Works Well But....
The taste is horrible! This was the worst drink I’ve ever drunk, and my taste receptors are still functional! The price is horrific! Because of the size and the tiny amount of the product, I was ready to return it without even opening it, but it is not returnable! Unreal!!! Avoid buying it!
