Who Is the Manufacturer of Fatty 15?

The company behind this product is called Seraphina Therapeutics Inc. The company is based in San Diego, California. The formula was devised by Stephanie Venn-Watson and her husband Eric Venn-Watson.

Stephanie is a veterinary epidemiologist and Eric is a military physician. They worked together with leading scientists to research a formula that would support overall health through fatty acid supplementation.

How Does Fatty 15 Work?

The main premise behind this product is that it will supply the user with a rich source of omega fatty acids. Omega fatty acids have been found to have multiple health benefits such as improved cognitive function[1].

But the purported effects of Fatty 15 may go beyond that. The company claims that Fatty 15 will also help the user lose weight. It may be possible that Fatty 15 will help boost metabolism which can have an indirect effect on weight loss.

This is largely due to its key ingredient, C15:0, an odd-chain saturated fatty acid that may play a role in supporting metabolic and cellular function.

According to Lisa Moskovitz, RD, CDN, founder of NY Nutrition Group, “C15:0 shows potential for boosting metabolism and supporting cellular health, but supplements should always work alongside a healthy diet and regular movement. Long-term improvements still come from balanced, whole-food eating.”

Fatty 15 may work best if you are committed to a regular regimen of exercise and have a healthy diet. The company also says that Fatty 15 will work to improve your mood and sleep in as little as 6 weeks.

Fatty 15 Key Ingredients – Are they Safe & Effective?

It’s important to note that there is only one active ingredient in the Fatty 15 formula. While this may be beneficial because it may limit the chance of allergic reaction, it may also limit the overall effectiveness of the product. In any case, please take a moment to review the following breakdown of the sole ingredient in Fatty 15:

Fatty 15 Supplement Facts

Fatty 15 Supplement Facts

Pentadecanoic Acid

The patented form of pentadecanoic acid used in Fatty 15 is called FA15. One of the claims that the company behind Fatty 15 makes is that this type of fatty acid is beneficial for heart health. And there does appear to be some science to back this claim up as we see in the following quote taken from a National Institutes of Health report:

A growing body of evidence supports that pentadecanoic acid (C15:0), an odd-chain saturated fat found in butter, is an essential fatty acid that is necessary in the diet to support long-term metabolic and heart health[2].

This same study goes on to say that pentadecanoic acid may also be useful for preventing mood disorders and microbial infections. So we can see that this ingredient may support healthy metabolism like the company claims.

This may have an indirect effect on weight loss as the metabolic resting rate of an individual may play a small role in how they are able to lose weight. However, there does not appear to be any solid evidence that would suggest that pentadecanoic acid can improve sleep quality which is one of the claims that the company makes[3].

Furthermore, it has not been proven that taking omega 3 fatty acids through a supplement will have the same health benefits as getting it naturally in foods like fatty fish.

Benefits of Fatty 15

In the following section, we will take a look at how the formula for Fatty 15 may affect your body.

  • Improved Heart Health – There is good evidence to suggest that daily intake of omega 3 fatty acids can improve your cardiovascular health and reduce your risk of developing serious heart issues. However, supplemental forms of omega fatty acids may not be as effective as naturally-occurring sources for heart health.
  • Moderate Weight Loss – Taking Fatty 15 on a consistent basis may also have a moderate effect on your weight. Since omega fatty acids can support long-term metabolic function, it may make it easier for your body to expend more calories when you work out. Just be aware that weight loss is unlikely unless you regularly exercise or work out.
  • Improved Mood – There have also been studies that seem to suggest that pentadecanoic acid can help prevent certain mood disorders. This may also lead to short-term mental health benefits like improved mood or outlook on a daily basis.

Side Effects

Fatty 15 is generally well-tolerated, with most users experiencing no side effects. However, a small percentage of people have reported mild symptoms such as temporary digestive discomfort, slight headaches, or minor skin irritation—similar to what some may experience when introducing any new supplement. These effects are rare and typically subside as the body adjusts.

To minimize any discomfort, it’s best to take Fatty 15 with food and stay hydrated. If you have sensitivities or specific health concerns, consulting a healthcare professional before starting is always a good idea. With its GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) certification and extensive research backing, Fatty 15 remains a safe and effective choice for long-term health support.

Safety

Fatty 15 is clinically tested and backed by scientific research, making it a safe and reliable supplement for long-term use. With minimal risk of side effects and a formulation designed for cellular health, it’s a trusted choice for those looking to support metabolism, heart health, and longevity. However, as with any supplement, it’s always best to consult a healthcare provider if you have underlying health conditions or specific concerns.

  • Customer Reviews: Many users report increased energy, improved sleep, better mood, and reduced cravings after consistent use. Some even see benefits in skin health, joint comfort, and cognitive clarity. owever, results vary, and not everyone experiences the same benefits.
  • Clinically Tested & Safe: Fatty 15 is GRAS certified and produced under FDA-compliant cGMP standards, ensuring high-quality and safe supplementation.
  • Unique vs. Omega-3s: Unlike fish oil, which primarily targets inflammation, Fatty acid 15 supports overall cellular function, making it a more comprehensive solution for long-term health.
  • Gradual but Lasting Results: While some effects, like mood and energy improvements, may appear within weeks, the full benefits for heart health, metabolism, and longevity develop over months of regular use.

What Do the Fatty 15 Reviews Say?

There have been mixed reviews for Fatty 15. Some people report positive health benefits, while others have seen little to no improvement or even some concerns. Let’s take a look at what users are saying.

Several users have shared encouraging results after taking Fatty 15:

So, today was my yearly doctors checkup which included blood work. I had done nothing different like eating healthier, exercising, etc. EXCEPT for taking fatty 15. All of my bloodwork came back remarkably better. –Dena M.

I feel like it’s been good for my skin and joints as I’m an old lady, but getting younger everyday. –Anne S.

Worth every penny! As a new mom, I wasn’t sure anything could help with the lack of sleep but after two weeks of adding Fatty15 to my daily routine, I’m so impressed! Even though I’m not getting a full 8 hours (thanks to my baby), I’ve been sleeping deeper and waking up in a better mood. I also feel way more focused and less scattered. The packaging is gorgeous and sustainable. It’s absolutely worth the price for how much better I feel. Highly recommend! – Kristen Shaw (5 Stars, Amazon Verified Purchase)

However, not everyone had the same experience. Some users felt the supplement didn’t deliver the expected benefits:

I’ve been taking Fatty 15 for a few months. I haven’t noticed much difference in my energy or overall health. The capsules are easy to take, but the results are underwhelming for me so far. Maybe it works better for others. – Amazon Customer

I took Fatty 15 religiously for close to a year, had bloodwork done and the results were shocking. My LDL cholesterol was actually higher than a year ago and now I’m stuck with taking a statin. Also had no effect on energy levels or consistently better sleep. I don’t understand the hype but I’m glad it works for others. – Lynn

WARNING! You’ll spend A LOT of money that NO MATTER WHAT you can’t get back! The first two days suppressed my appetite really well, but by day three I started getting headaches. I continued taking one capsule a day, and the headaches got so bad I had to stop. There are 22 of 30 left because I just couldn’t continue. This turned out to be a waste of money for me. NO REFUNDS HONORED HERE! – Ms Rich (1 Star, Verified Purchase)

Overall, reviews for Fatty 15 are mixed. Some users praise the supplement for improving bloodwork and joint comfort, while others say they didn’t notice significant changes. As with many supplements, individual responses may vary.

Is Fatty15 Legit or a Scam?

Fatty15 is marketed as a science-backed supplement containing C15:0, a lesser-known saturated fatty acid that may support cellular function, metabolic health, and overall wellness. The company behind Fatty15 provides transparency in its manufacturing process, offers third-party testing, and presents research to support its claims. These factors suggest it is a legitimate product.

However, it’s important to acknowledge that not all users have had the same experience. While some report benefits like increased energy and better mood, others have noted minimal effects or concerns such as an increase in LDL cholesterol. Additionally, the formula contains only one active ingredient, which may limit its effectiveness for certain individuals.

In summary, Fatty15 does not appear to be a scam, but results can vary. It may be worth trying for those interested in novel approaches to health, though consulting a healthcare professional beforehand is highly recommended.

Worked… just slower than i expected
I’m 51, and I’ve been on this stuff for nearly 10 weeks. Before Fatty15, my joints felt stiff every morning and I was dragging myself around. Now there’s a small change, mornings feel less rough, but I still have off days. Honestly, it’s okay, but it takes patience. Don’t expect overnight magic…
  2. Amanda Williams

    Just didn’t work for me
Was really hoping fatty 15 would help curb my cravings and boost fat burn, but it kinda left me hanging. I lost a couple of pounds but nothing major, and my hunger still came back strong.

Energy was hit or miss. Not terrible if you wanna try it, but don’t expect miracles. Definitely still looking for something that actually works for me.

  3. Marilyn Jacobs

    After reading Comsumer Health Digest
After reading the review on Consumer Health Digest I don’t think I will buy this product.

    1. I need to gain weight, but I do need my liver to function better and my LDL levels to go down. But the last review really sold me on not buying this product, ‘raised her LDL levels’ so much she now has to take a statin. It has no 3rd party testing either.

I just can’t trust my health to a product like this that cost so much as well.

Thank you Consumer Health Digest for the review on this product, it saved me money.
