You may think a vein female superstar with her sexy bumps would break the Guinness World Record for most selfies taken in a minute.
It is quite shocking that macho man, superstar Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson would be the one to set this new record, with 105 selfies in 3 minutes.
The Rock took these photos with his fans, who were lining up during the red carpet premier of his new movie “San Andreas” at London’s Odeon Lelcester Square.
According to the Guiness World Records’ official website, The Rock got the “title for the most self-portrait (selfies) taken in three minutes.”
Using a smartphone, The Rock took pictures of himself with the fans lining up in the red carpet to be part of the World Record attempt. Guinness World Records adjudicator Mark McKinley set selfie rules. It requires the selfies to include the full face and neck of the persons in the portrait. The picture should be focused, not blurred and the faces should be recognisable. There were several selfies that were disqualified. However, the total still reached 105, which makes the former-wrestling superstar a record breaker.
The Rock Is Such an Achiever
Before he raced with Vin Diesel in the last two Fast and the Furious franchise, before he became a demi-god in Hercules, and before he became a superstar in Holywood, The Rock was already very popular as a wrestler. He was also a great football player when he was younger.
Recently, he officiated the wedding of one of his die hard fan, who he became friends with after he was interviewed by him. One can only say he is super human. One normal guy tried to follow his diet plan, and wasn’t able to make it. Now, his latest achievement is the World Record for most selfies. It seems like there is just no stopping The Rock.
He posted a video on his new record, captioning it with, “We just set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORD for most self-portraits (selfies) taken in record time (yup, a selfie world record exists and your arm gets a helluva workout).”
The rest of the stars who were with Dwayne Johnson during the London premier of San Andreas were Alexandra Daddario, Carla Gugino, and the film’s director Brad Peyton. The movie is about a magnitude 9 earthquake in California. The Rock stars as a search and rescue helicopter pilot who desperately tries to rescue his only daughter from the catastrophic event.
