This Valentine’s Day, take the initiative and try out one of these fun sex positions.

1. The Magic Mountain

Using assorted throw pillows, build a small mountain against the headboard of the bed. Bend over the mountain of pillows and have him enter you from behind. The pillows will help to softly support your body, so his will follow your body’s natural arch. The sensations from your skin rubbing against the pillows and rubbing against his stomach, will help heighten your sense of arousal.

2. The Lotus Position

This is one of the more romantic positions as you get to gaze into each other’s eyes, if you wish. Have him sit with his legs crossed on the floor, and slowly sit down on him as you wrap your legs around his waist. This intimate position lets you watch the play of emotions across each other’s faces, and can help to encourage more emotionally intense climaxes.

3. The Trapeze

This position is great for any woman who is feeling flexible. This fun position can change the way you experience an orgasm. With the man sitting on the edge of the bed, wrap your legs snugly around his waist while slowly leaning over and backwards. Making love while you are hanging upside down will make you look at orgasms in a new way.

4. The Superwoman

This position is a more exciting version of having sex “doggy style”. Find a solid and stable flat surface, like a table or a low counter. While the woman places her palms down on the table, the man lifts her up and forward. Her legs should be straight out behind her, giving her the feeling that she is flying during intercourse.

5. The Seated Scissors

This position is a much simpler version of the “scissors position” and requires equal participation. With the man sitting straight up, with his legs spread open, sit on his side and drape one leg over his legs and the other leg on his hip. In this position, the woman can control how deep and what angle penetration occurs, while he controls the speed and pace.

6. The Viennese Oyster

This position does require a degree of flexibility, but it is a fun and exciting way to add spice back into your relationship. As the woman lays on her back, she will stretch her legs above her head while crossing her ankles. The man then gets to lie on top of her and control the pace and level of penetration. If you cannot get your legs extended all the way, have him hold your thighs up during sexual intercourse.

7. The Dragonfly

Every couple has at least one lazy morning, where they occasionally decide to stay in bed later than they normally do. This position takes advantage of those quiet, lazy mornings. As you are curled up in bed, have him spoon with you from behind. Wrap your leg behind him so he can penetrate you easier, in this position he is also able to caress and fondle you during intercourse.

Final Words

It is always fun to try out new and exciting sexual positions, and Valentine’s night gives couples the perfect opportunity. It is normal for relationships to slow down and even for the sex to become less satisfying. Trying out new sexual positions is not only fun, it can also help to put the sexual energy back into any relationship.
