Overview of Latisse

Latisse, made by Allergen, is probably one of the better-known brands of eyelash enhancers. Unlike most, this is a prescription medication that is specifically used to treat hypotrichosis, a condition of having inadequate lash growth. The spokesperson for Latisse is actress Brooke Shields and she appears on the very detailed and informative website. Included on the site are customer ‘before, during, and after’ video diaries, testimonials, FAQ’s and tips on getting the best results from the product.

Because it is only available by prescription,Latisse has undergone clinical testing, the results of which are shown on the site. There is also a link to find a doctor in your area that will prescribe Latisse.

Latisse Reviews – Final Verdict

Latisse is possibly the only eyelash growth serum that actually produces longer lashes, unlike over-the-counter brands that simply condition the lashes. However, it is a prescription medication and may not be as easily accessible as a non-prescription brand.

Buying an eyelash enhancer is not an easy thing to do. The most important aspect you have to consider is safety. This is because some eyelash enhancers contain harsh chemicals that can cause serious eye problems. Another important factor is effectiveness. Of course, you want the fastest and most considerable results possible. Not recommended to use Latisse.
I was unable to use Latisse for an extended period of time in order to observe the benefits. My right eye began twitching uncontrollably at the end of week two. I stopped using it for a week, and the twitching lessened, but when I restarted it, the twitching returned. I stopped using Latisse completely and had to use eye drops to control the twitching. I will not use Latisse again.
  2. Marlena

    Latisse quit useful for me.
I find Latisse to be quite helpful for growing eyelashes and making them appear fuller, and I would suggest Latisse to anyone with thin or insufficient eyelashes. However, I recommend that everyone use this product with caution because Latisse might create adverse effects.
