Because of the different skin in this area, a special kind of anti-aging product is needed to address the different signs of skin aging here. These products are called eye creams, serums or gels.

When you’re in the market for such a product, you need to be very cautious in order to end up with a product that is highly effective and completely safe.

To help you choose among the numerous products on the market, we will be closely examining a popular product and try to discover if it really works.

What is Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum?

The product we will be reviewing is from Perrcone MD which is a well-known skincare company that offers a wide range of products. The company is known for offering quality skincare products and is especially regarded for their line of anti-aging formulations.

This tightens the skin and reduces other signs of skin aging on the area. AvenaSativa extract is high in silicic acid which soothes and helps the skin heal.

It also has a powerful tightening effect on the uppermost layer of the skin offering instant results. Palmitoyl tripeptide-38 is clinically proven to reduce the visibility of wrinkles.

It works by rebuilding the skin and evening out the skin. One of the major flaws of the anti-aging eye serum is that there is no detailed information on the active ingredients provided on the Perricone MD website.

How to Use?

Dr. Perricone recommends applying the serum directly to the eyelids. Work your way up to the brow bone using a gentle patting motion. Apply sideways on the lower contours of the eyes starting from your crow’s feet towards the area around the eyes.

Make sure the serum is fully absorbed by waiting a few minutes then follow with an eye cream if you desire extra moisture.

Avoid getting into the eyes to prevent irritation. Perform skin testing to check for skin irritation before complete application. If you have very sensitive skin, consult your skincare professional before use.

Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum Review – Final Verdict

After scrupulously examining the formulation of Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum and reading what customers are saying about it, this is a good eye serum.

It contains several proven anti-aging ingredients and there are many customer reviews saying that it works. However, considerable results take time depending on the severity of skin aging signs.

The primary draw of the formula is that some people may be allergic to any of the ingredient in its formulation so this is not for everyone.

The most common eye area issues are puffiness, dark circles, wrinkles and crow’s feet, and loss of hydration. There are countless eye creams available on the market today, making it seem nearly impossible to find the “right one” that meets our specific under eye needs. It is imperative to find a product that has been formulated to address a variety of complex eye area problems.

Below you’ll find some of the most effective eye cream formulations on the market today, in our opinion.

  1. Barbara

    burning and itching
Same. Very uncomfortable burning and itching, along with swelling and redness. Not only painful but also not a good look. I’ve written to the company to find out about a refund, the product is too costly to let this go. Hope they will take a look at the formula and/or add a warning label.
  2. Suzanne

    eyelids are swollen
Same with me. It stings so much and feels like it’s burning. My eyelids are swollen, dry and the skin just flakes off. Silly me keeps hoping I’ll get used to it so my eyelids have peeled about 5 times now. I didn’t want to believe it was the product so kept trying. After scraping the dead skin off again tonight revealing redraw eyelids, I decided to google it and see if anyone else had an issue. Sadly I think I’ve wasted my money on this product 🙁
  3. Mikal

Acyl-Glutathione Eye Lid Serum side effects
I have burned eyelids too. I thought it was allergies but I discontinued use and it went away. Reapplied today and it came back. The first small tube I got didn’t do this. So disappointed and in pain.

    Swollen Eyes & Burn
I have tried the new eyelid lift serum by Perricone MD (milky color not clear serum) and I have swollen eyes—upper and lower — and it looks like I have a chemical burn with all the redness/rash. I previously thought this was my makeup, but now it has been narrowed down to this specific serum. Not the old serum, but the new. Soooo disappointed, and now have a swollen, red, dry itchy face. – with tears.
