Judges Criteria

Once all qualifying submissions have been received, our panel of judges will determine the winner based on pre-set criteria. Whether it be an infographic, article, video or event idea, the submission that meets the highest ratings of our criteria will be awarded the prize.

The criteria on which submissions will be judged are:

  • Creativity
  • Presentation
  • Style

No matter whether you decide to submit a video, infographic, article, or event idea, please make sure that the topic falls in line with our selected theme. Please, carefully review all of the contest details, rules, theme, and carefully consider our criteria before submitting. The winner will be notified via email so please also be sure that you have provided your correct email address in the enrollment form. Please note that the winner has 14 days to respond to our notification email. If a selected winner does not reply within the 14 day timeframe, another winner will be chosen at our discretion.

Conditions and Agreements

The cash prize for winning submissions is $250 per competition category. Winners will receive their prize money via postal mail to the physical address provided in the enrollment form. Payment of prize money is contingent on the winners agreement to permit ConsumerHealthDigest.com to publish the winning submission on our website and only our website, under the applicants name for the purposes of marketing or and/or publicity. Therefore the winning applicant must also agree not to allow any other website, publication, or organization to use their submission in any context and also must agree to refrain from personal use of the submission.

College/University Requirements

Applicants must be actively enrolled in an accredited college, university, or institution that is officially acknowledged by the U.S. Department of Education.

Submitting Your Entry

All submissions into the competition must be made through our official ConsumerHealthDigest.com Enrollment Form or via email at [email protected]. No hard copy or physical materials will be accepted as entries into the competition. Be aware that plagiarism of any kind will result in your entry being automatically disqualified. Written article entries must be submitted in PDF or Microsoft Word format (.doc, .docx, .pdf). No personal information will be used or published on our site except that of the winning entrant. In which case, we will request that we be given permission to publish the names and photos of the winners to ConsumerHealthDigest.com

Submission Deadline

If by December 15th 2018, ConsumerHealthDigest does not receive at least 1,000 submissions, the competition will be rolled over to a later date. All applicants will be notified if this should occur. In this case, we will accept all submissions made before December 15th 2018 as well as ones submitted by the new, rolled over deadline which we will also divulge to applicants.

We cannot be held responsible for any lost or failed applications do to internet connectivity, network failures, communication breakdowns, formatting errors, file errors, software incompatibilities, or any type of technical or mechanical malfunction that may prevent the successful submission of entries.

Winning and Notification

Our team of judges will carefully review all qualifying applications and select a winner. At which time, the winner will be notified via email, on or around January 31st 2020. All applications will be evaluated based on the criteria we have set for this competition.
