What is OptiMag Neuro?
OptiMag Neuro is one memory enhancement supplement that claims to help prevent memory loss and cognitive dysfunction. One of the main ingredients of Oxymogen is magnesium which may help with brain function, therefore, slowing cognitive decline. OptiMag Neuro has a type of magnesium called Albion. This is the only type of magnesium that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Increasing the amount of magnesium helps with long-term memory, increases learning ability, decreases stress, and improves sleep.

How Does OptiMag Neuro Work?
This supplement works by using a form of magnesium called Albion, the only form of magnesium that can cross the blood-brain barrier. Another ingredient called L-threonate is another form of magnesium that MIT has studied for 10 years. Studies [1] have shown that magnesium and calcium work together to optimize nerve signaling. Synapses are another word for neurotransmission but specify that the communication is occurring between cells and the brain.
OptiMag Neuro Ingredients – Are They Safe & Effective?
Magtein (magnesium L-threonate)
– Magtein is made up of vitamin C, vitamin D, and magnesium L-Threonate. Years of studies[2] show that combining magtein and magnesium helps enhance learning ability and memory in young rats, plus it has helped prevent memory decline as they age. In the Neuro-Mag review, we’ve discovered that synapses refer directly to the communication between the brain and cells, which is another term for neurotransmission.
Synapses keep the brain cells not to become overstimulated or overactive so that they can react healthier.
As we age, our brains start to shrink, and this causes the cells to no longer be able to carry messages to our brains effectively. When this happens, our brain’s cognitive ability starts to decline. Scientists are beginning to discover that preventing this helps to slow this decline down. Magtein is one supplement that appears to support this process.
Magtein may help with insomnia, anxiety, fatigue, and other neural health conditions. There’s some evidence showing that L-threonate [3] may be beneficial in treating some types of depression. These benefits are unique to L-threonate and not other types of magnesium.
When we don’t get the proper amount of sleep, we can’t function during the day. Our mood will worsen, our memory and cognitive ability will decrease, and we will become more anxious. In 2016, a study [6] published that stated a lack of sleep associated with cognitive decline.
Benefits of Vitamin C
– A study [7] of 260 individuals aged 60 and older studied individuals with normal and low levels of vitamin C. Those who had normal levels of the vitamin did much better on the tests than those who were low. Not only does it benefit your memory, but it also lowers your risk of chronic disease, may help reduce high blood pressure, and help prevent gout attacks.
Beneifts of Vitamin D
– This is another vitamin that may play a role in brain health and function. A double-blind, placebo-controlled trial done in 2018 [8]
showed that individuals with mild cognitive impairment showed significant improvement after taking a vitamin D supplement.
Magnesium
– Magnesium helps to increase your energy and supports optimal function in the body. It helps to prevent fatigue and guards receptors that assist in brain growth. When these cells become overstimulated, they end up killing them. The level of magnesium in our bodies may determine how well our brains function (8).
The benefits of magnesium to our neurological system are not entirely known, but studies [8] show that it does play an essential role in the transmission and neuro conduction. The benefits of magnesium are something the scientific community wants to explore more. The pairing of magnesium and magtein helps ensure that your nutrients are making it to your brain.
Carbohydrates
– Carbs help give us energy, and it’s essential for health. They are our primary energy source, although we should focus on eating healthy carbs from whole grains, fruits, vegetables, and legumes. When you don’t eat enough carbohydrates, you may notice that you are frequently tired and don’t feel well.
