Highlights

Mariella Murray is a qualified Fitness Instructor, Level 3 Mat Pilates Specialist and a trained Alternative Therapist since 2008 that is passionate about anything health or fitness related.

Experience

Mariella has always been a health and wellbeing enthusiast and finally took a leap of faith at the age of 39 to formally retrain as a fitness instructor. She closed the door on a corporate career that spanned over 20 years and walked away from a successful freelance marketing consultancy business in search of "Balance". After emerging from a decade of self-inflicted emotional eating restriction and the pitfalls of dieting and counting calories she became ill. By adopting a balanced and holistic lifestyle she was able to eliminate illness and disease in the body.

In recent years through excessive training, injury, and having been diagnosed with hypermobility she discovered and developed a new found love for Pilates. Pilates has helped her overcome injury and develop muscle strength. She has experienced first-hand the positive effects of how this low impact exercise programme can significantly change your body. Mariella holds a Masters in Marketing Communications. She completed a level 3 VTCT Diploma in Reflexology in 2008 and since went on to complete an IAO Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing and a Level 3 Diploma in mat Pilates. She is a member of Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity and also a certified Les Mills Instructor.
