Description of Skin Logic
Skin Logic is an anti-aging treatment cream that is made from a proprietary formula that utilizes natural ingredients. It claims to rejuvenate the skin, plump up the skin, increase* collagen, work as an antioxidant and help the skin to look more youthful. It has a wide variety of additional claims and is a product that participates in automatic shipments at a monthly charge after the free trial.
All About Skin Logic
Skin Logic has a free trial that you can use for 14 days and then the monthly auto-ship price is $89.95. The problem with auto-ship programs is that most people seem to find them hard to get out of. This can lead to charges that pile up month after month until you get it settled. Even then, some people cannot get the charges taken off or find that it takes multiple tries to see any action and by then there are even more payments that were taken out automatically.
Skin Logic Manufacturer Information
Skin Logic is part of the auto-ship program which means you cannot find out any manufacturer information – the sites simply lead to the order form and information. You can find some small print on how to cancel and the terms and conditions but other than an automated toll-free number, there is no information other than an email address.
Skin Logic Ingredients
The ingredients in Skin Logic do seem good and effective. It uses a combination of:
- Hyaluronic Acid
In this particular skin cream, all of these ingredients are effective in anti-aging but the problem is that while these may work, there is zero information on the exact components of the product. There is no information about individual ingredients other than the three mentioned, which may be found in a variety of elements.
What Does Skin Logic Do?
Skin Logic uses the ingredients to lighten the skin tone, plump up the features to alleviate wrinkles, and moisturize, among other helpful benefits. The collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid, and nutrients will all perform these actions. The only caveat to that is that we still don’t know which exact ingredients are used and while it claims to be all-natural – what is in it?
Skin Logic Strengths
The strengths of Skin Logic include:
- The mentioned ingredients are in fact helpful to the skin.
- Most any high-end skin cream will include these elements and they are proven to help work effectively within reason.
Skin Logic Weaknesses
The weaknesses of Skin Logic include a number of issues such as:
- Not disclosing what the exact formula is. Even with a proprietary blend, there should be some information on at least an ingredient or two.
- The other issue is with the auto-ship program itself. I can’t stress enough that these can be very difficult to stop, and there are numerous complaints about this type of set-up.
- You can’t read real reviews on the product and most of the time, the sites will redirect you numerous times in order to try to get you to purchase the product. In fact, all review sites that “sell” the product will redirect you and be an affiliate site – not a legitimate reviewer.
How to Apply Skin Logic
Like many beauty creams, Skin Logic is simple to use. Just cleanse the face like normal and apply the product with your fingertips. Massage it in and let it sit. You can wear it under makeup or use it at night before bedtime – it’s your choice.
Is Skin Logic Safe to Use?
This is hard to answer since there is no real information on what ingredients are found in the product. Since they are supposedly all-natural, then it should be safe to use. However, some people are sensitive to hyaluronic acid or even to certain plant based ingredients so without knowing the exact component, it is hard to predict if you may have an allergic reaction. For instance, if you are allergic to lavender and this product contained that then you would need to know and there is no way of knowing since nothing is listed.
The bottom line is that I would steer clear of any product that is part of an auto-ship program, and I would not want a product that will not list its ingredients. While I believe that the components listed are good ones, without knowing what is in the product otherwise, I would not personally buy it. Not only is it very expensive at almost $90 per month but there is no way of knowing if it works. For that amount of money, you could invest in a luxury anti-aging cream from a legitimate brick and mortar store or a trusted online source.
As we age the composition, texture and appearance of our skin changes. Signs of skin aging include wrinkles, fine lines, loss of moisture, uneven tone, and dull, tired-looking skin. There are countless anti-wrinkle creams on the market promising to make skin look and feel younger. Many anti-wrinkle creams promise everything short of a facelift or to provide the much sought after "fountain of youth". In reality most are just moisturizers marketed as anti-aging products.
Below you’ll find some of the most effective wrinkle serum/cream formulations on the market today, in our opinion.
