The Asthma Drug Facility is a new mechanism that will provide access to affordable good quality essential asthma drugs

The Asthma Drug Facility (ADF) will be managed by the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (The Union), and advised by a Steering Committee and Technical Review Panel to provide access to affordable good quality essential asthma drugs.

Since the Global Drug Facility (GDF) has been very successful by following these principles, ADF will follow the same basic principles.
